I don't know if this is true but the message board for littlebigplanet is chalk full of people saying target walmart and other stores are still releasing the game tomorrow. This might just be a rumor but many say they picked up LBP with Fable 2 tonight. I already paid for the game at gamestop so i am kinda stuck to wait for them to get them. If any of you really want to get the game a week ahead check these stores out target, walmart, toys r us, etc. i am gonna try to call my local gamestop but from what i read gamestop is like the only store that complied to the recall is what people are saying. if someone can confirm or deny please do share your information cause as it is now it is only a rumor

I'm planning on heading to the place I preordered from on the 23rd, the initial Australian release date and act dumb. See if I can manage to get the game. EDIT: Their catalogue says Nov. 7.... I suppose I'll have to wait

I even explained the whole situation to the lady at my local gamestop. Because naturally...I asked if I could buy the game earlier..."no we don't do that". So I explained what was going on and that Sony actually delayed it but she still said "we can't sell it now. Come back on Wendesday." Heh, fine lady. Tomorrow it is.

Just talked to a semi-local Wal-Mart and they were just putting it out on the shelves. My boss was like a mad man getting out of here to head over. He's going to call me from the store if they have it so there's a good possibility I'll have it soon... EDIT: My boss is there with it in hand and went to check out. DING, DING! Flagged in the computer as recalled. They're in the midst of sorting it out, but it's not looking good now. UPDATE: It's officially a "no-go". They wouldn't sell it, but it was apparently pretty close at one point. I asked him how it felt to have a copy in-hand and he described it as a tingle that started in his hand and shot throughout his being. Behold, the power of LBP! Looks like I'll just be getting The Incredible Hulk today.

Well one of my friends confirmed it for me. The lucky %*#$!@# is going to be getting a copy of Littlebigplanet from target today while I am stuck waiting for gamestop to get copies in on i hope tuesday.
