			| Huzzah for descriptive titles! http://vimeo.com/14308613 This is a great interview with Alex Evans - nothing really new in the interview itself, but overall it's a fun interview, and the interviewer seemed really impressed But what's really cool is the beginning and a short gameplay shot in the middle. At the very beginning before the interview starts (after the intro of course), Alex Evans is talking about something we can't see on the screen. But we CAN hear it. I'm 99% sure the music at the beginning was made with the sequencer, and it sounds quite good! So yeah, that's a cool indication of how powerful the music sequencer is. At 2:45 in the video, there's a very short clip of a REALLY cool level. As far as I know it's never been seen before - it's a shame they don't have a full video focusing on it (maybe it's still coming..). It shows off some really neat particle effects, a cool crystal/diamond decoration, and just overall really cool design/materials/atmosphere. | 2010-08-21 21:43:00 Author: hilightnotes Posts: 1230 |

| There is one thing that is beyond amazing in that video. During that crystal level footage, you see a material falling into a little gap and when it crashes you realise it's like goo-ish liquid!! This is completely and amazingly not. The dream of having "liquids" filling a pond are a reality now. It's not "water" per see, but I wasn't ready for this. This is amazing. Awesomeness overload in my brain! . | 2010-08-21 22:23:00 Author: RangerZero Posts: 3901 |

Awesomeness overload in my brain! I think that's just a new dissolve effect. It's been seen in a few other videos and it disappears after a few seconds. | 2010-08-21 22:29:00 Author: Rhys125 Posts: 841 |
| I think that's just a new dissolve effect. It's been seen in a few other videos and it disappears after a few seconds. I would think you could simply have it recurring continuously though, to create a kind of watery-bubbling effect. | 2010-08-21 22:34:00 Author: hilightnotes Posts: 1230 |

| Great interview. I just want the sequencer now. >.< Like, to me specifically, it outshines absolutely every other feature that game has to offer. D: Is that bad that I'm thinking that way? xD I just need it even more... Also, that one level snippet looks really exciting. I can't wait to get my hands on the story mode as well. | 2010-08-21 22:48:00 Author: AeroForce22 Posts: 392 |
| @Jonaolst It's not his video so it wouldn't be that easy for him. At first I thought that level was apart of the Steam and Cake section, but then I saw that later in the video it showed a planet that looked just like the level, which says that it's an entire theme. Maybe that's one of the final levels after you crash-land on that moon! :o And I also heard Alex mention Johnee and the story. Does this mean that Johnee worked on the story? It would make sense because I remember hearing a MM employee say that they hired Johnee because of his story making abilites. | 2010-08-21 22:53:00 Author: Kog Posts: 2358 |

| Here's the official youtube link of the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vfP6N8TLqos And yes, the presentation was amazing... Alex did show us how easy it will be to create stuff like tunes (even with multiple instruments/sounds). LBP2 will be absolutely stunning! And the best thing, you will have all your stuff (levels, costumes, add ons) that you had in LBP1 also in LBP 2 btw. sorry for my bad english in the vid... we are a swiss ps3 community site www.ps3community.ch | 2010-08-22 18:54:00 Author: McLogo Posts: 1 |
