Stickers still the primary mode of decorating?

Archive: 5 posts

Hi everyone, I was just wondering if anyone knew how painting on objects will work in LBP2. I found the stickering method in LBP to be somewhat cumbersome and limiting. It seemed like repeating a sticker would quickly fill the thermometer and stretching a sticker out took a long time and the create camera made it hard to see how big it had become. Does anyone else feel this way and would like to see an actual paint mechanic added to the game? Or at least a one click fill-in option?2010-08-21 06:11:00

I'm hoping it still is the main decoration, mainly because people can get extremely creative with it!2010-08-27 02:29:00

@justinat998
bumping is fine and all but try not to post so many times in a row
without adding something meaningful to the topic ok?

And yes something along the lines of material color change would be nice
but stickers should still be a option,
and for them to fix the big sticker on a big material bug *mew

I would like it if the materials had a bunch of different colour options. Then we wouldn't have to sticker big blocks and such.2010-08-27 15:31:00

Not color options, but a Color Wheel! (Honeycomb color slots and some slots for custom colors)

Before/After choosing the Material Shape, there would be a color section of whether you want to use the look Mm gave it, or one of the other color schemes you have in the level (5 slots?), or some of the pre-saved color schemes (10 slots ?).

When chaning the color, I don't mean the equivalent of slapping a sticker in it, because then the texture loses it's shading, but more like changing the red/orange/brown color in the Thing skin to a blue, keeping the dark shading under the lumps...

Someone got it?
