Despite babysitting my little brother and missing a sleepover with Becky and Caren,it was the best halloween i had ever had.But something just wasnt right mom should have been home hours ago.I started to get really worried so i tried to calm my nerves down by listening to music.My mind was racing with all the ideas of what would happen to her and all of them were bad.I tried to clear them out by turning my music up louder but that didnt help at all.My thoughts still over powered the music.Then I heard shattering glass in the kitchen.It startled me at first but i knew it was my brother reaching for a plate in the cupboard.I ripped the heaphones of of my head and got up to peek into the kitchen expecting my brother to be right next to a pile of broken glass.No one was in there.Panic rushed back into my mind.Then i remembered the shattering glass sound.What broke?I looked once again aound the old kitchen and then i felt a cold breeze roll past.I looked at the window and there was a whole in the top left corner of it. A rock was sitting on the floor and then i realized it was halloween.It must have been one of those rotten pranks kids play.I took a second look at the rock.Oh boy...theres a note attatched to it.My hands were shaking.I was shaking.The whole world seemed to be shaking.I was scared out of my mind.I slowly bent down and picked up the rock.I took off the rubber band that held the note to the rock.My hands were sweating.I thought to myself its just a sick trick.I flipped over the paper.Uhhh...nothing there?Phew! I was a little nervo- *BONK* Perhaps it was a dream.Maybe it was real.I know that i woke up in my bed.It was still the same day.It had only been 5 minutes!!!The lights flickered.Oh boy that cant be good either.The lights were out for about 10 minutes and in that ten minutes i was hiding under my blanket.Mom, still not home.My brother, sleeping...or was he...When the lights came back on i got up from my bed and walked to my little brother's room.Locked?But how? He doesn't know how to lock the door.He isn't even tall enough. Mom told me there was a key in the drawer.I walked back into the kitchen and ...OH MY GOSH! Someone had been here other than me.Mom's favorite curtains were torn to pieces and the chairs were missing legs.The fridge was flat on the floor and the cupboards were wide open.Everthing ele was out of place like the toaster was in the sinkand the cooler was in the oven.THen i found the "note" on what was left of the table.This time i saw something on it. I was afraid to look.I was already creeped out enough.I MEAN GIVE ME A BREAK!!!I reached out to grab it just then there was a loud bang on the door.YIKES!!!!They're back!Whoever was at the door they banged the doorso hard it literally fell down to the floor.Nothing to worry about just my mom acting like a raging bull...wait...WHAT!?My mom's eyes where bloodshot.She was definetly mad.Wait till she sees what happened to the kitchen. She practically stared into my soul!!THen she stomped off into her room and about 30 seconds later she screamed.Not a "HELP IM BEING CAPTURED" scream.It was more like "GAH!! IM FILLED WITH RAGE!!" type of scream.I ran to her bedroom and it looked just like the kitchen.Now i was in for it. SHe gave me that stare again except it was worse. I was scared stiff. If u want to hear the other part of the story just ask me.

This was actually inspired by something real that happened to me...its mostly the scary parts like what happens at the door...except i didnt open the door.
