Even though theres a ton more tools for using in create mode, I'm extremely excited for the Story Mode. LBPs story mode was brilliant and I loved every moment of it, and LBP2s story mode looks 100x better. Story Mode: An inter-dimensional vacuum cleaner appears over the skies of LittleBigPlanet and begins to suck up its inhabitants, including Sackboy. Larry Da Vinci, the leader of a secret organisation known as "The Alliance", comes to Sackboy's rescue saving him from what they call "The Negativitron." The organisation is dedicated to battling with "The Negativitron" and defeating it before it destroys Craftworld. Help Larry gather members and put a stop to the sucking! I still can't get over the fact that we are fighting against a giant vacuum. I'll never look at another Hoover vacuum the same ever again lol. Avalon Centifuge looks like the comedy relief of the game. Especially from one of the videos that showed of a cutscene of him. He's a character that's gonna grow on me.

There's a 30 minute demo in the news section somewhere. It shows that the stationary person is called Clive. It also shows their voices. Clive sounds sorta dreary, Dave Inchi sounds like an old man, and Avalonia(?) like a soul/funk type person.

Some points I'd like to add: Clive: Voice acting is done by johnee. Eve: That bird is DaVinci's hand (note his arm cropped out). Avalon: Proportionally the closest character to a sackboy, the only difference is the size of the feet.

Actually, Clive's voice acting WAS done by Johnny (You're thinking of the wrong Johnny) when they were testing the voice acting. I guess I can add that he was originally by Johnny. I've changed up the thread a bit and made it more about the Story Mode. I've added the plot and I've added the themes and the order we play them in. (If anyone knows what the levels in space are called please tell me!)

As far as I can see, exactly right. I think you meet Dr H. Higginbotham at the end of Eve's asylum; he appears in the outro for that world. One mini-game in Eve's world is called 'Mind Control' The level where you meet Avalon is called 'Surely, You will fail prostrate when confronted my my magnificence' This level is only a cutscene and afterwards you are instantly teleported to 'Pilot Training' The boss fight in The Factory of a Better tomorrow is running from a giant robot chicken and is called 'Fowl Play' There's a minigame called 'Split paths,' coming off the level 'Pipe dreams' 'Split Paths' is a race where you have to solve puzzles to release Sackbots, then guide them across to the finish.

perhabs Clive and Clyde are brothers. It's just Clive. You've probably picked up Clyde from someones mistake, I've seen Clive Anderson mention that it's a name Americans tend to get wrong. I am familiar with the Hoover Company. I am not familiar with the main villain being a Hoover Vacuum. It won't be a Hoover in game for legal reasons its just one of those brands that has managed to get so associated with what it does that it has become the default word in conversation.

Now if they had Clive Anderson do the voice acting... that would be brilliant!! ...and some info for the sake of preventing this post from appearing to be spam, several charcters have been revised a lot, the most obvious being Clive, now he has a distinct torso (an eraser) as opposed to the head and torso being made from the one notebook, DaVinci is seen with or without 3D glasses (possibly iterations of the character or maybe they can be toggled), Victoria has gained a nice pair of steampunk goggles and undergone a colour-scheme change, and Avalon appears to have originally been a sackboy (look at the first pic of him in this thread, his skin is the default sack skin and as I have already mentioned he has a sack's proportions). @Rabid: ooh thanks for reminding me of something, I'll just write it down on a Post-it with my Biro!

It's just what we've been conditioned to expext from our game villains over the years, we always beat them they always return in the sequel to try again quickly making the plot boring and predictable. Personally I hope Mm are going to be one of those developers that create a new villain with new motivations for what they are doing in each game.

lol well collector was not all bad...im just pretty sure the ending made it clear tho that he wouldn't betray the curators.... i mean people i think just keep thinking dr.wily when they think of recurring badguys but yeah dr.wily had a valid point and his issue was never solved collector just wanted friends and stuff...so he got them and he has no reason to be bad so yeah im sure he wont come back...well as a bad guy anyways but it would be cool if he was a curator in a story world or a unlockable world to help you fight the negativitron

Here's another thing I just thought of. In one pic there appears to be a snake coming out of Eve's head, in the manner that we would normally associate with a worm. This may be a moving comstume part. Also, the choice of a snake over a worm may also be another layer to the allusion to Eve from the Bible.

Seeing as her head is an apple, with a bite already taken out of it, she could have been outcast from some other place, and therefor she created the Asylum for her to live.

I think Clive is manic-depressive. His wiki page says that he thought his life had hit rock bottom until he heard of saturated fat (no references for that tidbit, sadly) and this article (http://www.gamingtarget.com/article.php?artid=11612) says something about his "slow and somber speech" that he gives. There's a 30 minute demo in the news section somewhere. It shows that the stationary person is called Clive. It also shows their voices. Clive sounds sorta dreary, Dave Inchi sounds like an old man, and Avalonia(?) like a soul/funk type person. Could you please link to that? Clive is cool. Also, I want to hear Avalon talk. He strikes me as an Elvis-type guy.
