Is anyone else tired of the levels that have "sack" in the titles?
Sack and the beanstalk, indiana sack (that doesn't even rhyme!), sack of war, sack wars, left 4 sack (lol) etc...ad nauseum...ugh.

How about some more more inventive titles?
Perhaps instead of "sack" you could use..thread/fluff/zip/button/burlap/etc.

Anyone feel the same or is it just me? :/

Yeah, I'm tired of it too.
And, yes... I know I've used this myself. Twice. But that was when I was young(er) and foolish.

More annoying I find are levels beginning with 'LittleBig...'.

How about Patch me if you can starring Leonardo Burlaprio, or X-Mend Origins : Woolverine, featuring Threadpool.2010-08-21 13:05:00

My boss gave me the sack.

I had to put some dirt in it.

But what will happen to Sackago?
I don't think Burlapago will work.

I was originally going to name my Left 4 Dead level something like "Sack 4 Dead", but found this too generic.

Then I noticed that LBP with a "t" on the end, and clipping the far right line of "B" & "P" made them look like an "E" & "F" (imagine a digital clock);

Hence the title LBPT 4 Dead.

Is that the kind of thing you mean?

I have used "Sack" in one of my levels: Time Sack-Gate. I'm not very good at naming my levels and that is the best I could come up with at the time. I understand what you think about the overused "Sack" and "LittleBig" names in the titles, I've been seeing them a lot lately. But look at the bright side, it could be something worse. Like, EVERYONE uses those kind of names in their level titles! But thats not true, there are levels without those names.

I totally agree! Littlebig is getting old too.
Especially when the pun makes no sense.
Having said that, I wouldn't blame anyone for using 'sack to the future'

Well, I honestly thought Scrumpy Sack was quite a clever pun, what with Scrumpy Jack being a famous cider and the level being based around the concept of apple scrumping. But it's clear to me now that I lack imagination and I should have called the level something more original. Like...erm...Little Big Apple Scrumping Survival (with real cider!)2010-08-28 14:31:00

I never heard of scrumpy jack, it might be a local thing. Sack and LittleBig are indeed overused (I initially avoided this thread because of the title ), but I think you could still get away with it if it's clever enough (leaving room for myself here in case I ever want to use a corny title like this).

Feel better now, Ungreth?

Sponges used to be referenced quite a bit early on, I seem to remember..."everything sponge".

I think it's cute though.
