The PROBLEMS of LBP

Don't just add 300 more objects and not fix the PROBLEMS of the game, ok?!

1. Work your MediaMoleculeMagic and fix the LAG. When I quick play: ONLY LET ME JOIN PLAYERS IN MY AREA. For example, if I live in Sweden, I DON'T WANT TO PLAY WITH KOREANS, cause then it lags and it's just a pain in the...you know where.

2. When a player leaves my moon give me an option to remove everything he has created. I don't like it when someone comes to my moon, spawns a bunch of crud and then leaves and I'm stuck there to Remove all of their crud.

3. This is something to add...yeah... BUT IT HELPS. When I go to the level TWEAK MENU on my moon, I want a sort of little mini-map thing to see what is IN that level. It shows the level in Front view and I can zoom in and out to see what's in it.

4. This is another thing to add but it WILL save someone alot of frustration. Let me disable peoples STICKERS and DECORATIONS page when they are in my pod. I don't want HIM or HER to come to my pod, fuss it up and then when I reset pod, they start putting feathers on ME.

5. Again with the pod, only this time make it so they can't hit me or any other sackperson.

That's umm, all the problems all I can think of, really. And now that everyone has written a wishlist for LBP2, I'm gonna do this too. >

1. Wouldn't it be the coolest thing ever to have a SACKBOT in your POD? He could be the janitor, or a Super Soldier ready to kick anyone who misbehaves! OR OR OR, He could be like terminator, and say stuff like "You are terminated" Everytime you jump on his head.

2. PLEASE skip the 3 pattern layer stuff when I'm in a pod so that I can walk and run freely in my pod, cause It's MY pod, not a level.

Errr...That's basicly it...:/ I've an idea. Now it's YOUR turn to rant about FIXABLE things in Lbp cause I'd just... do something if LBP2 has 30 problems and glitches, that'd just be horrible.

your saying Koreans lag?
And the whole no hit function while in pod seems i dont know.. silly..
Heres a solution to most of the problems with the pod..
Kick the player -_-

If I live in sweden and you live in Korea and we play it WILL lag for me AND for you cause my ping will my through the roof. I just use an example, please don't get upset.
And that other thing? Yeah if they added an INSTANT kick feature, that'd be cool. Then they won't have an added 10 seconds to ruin my pod.

Thats why they added the ability to save a pod dude -_- what does it matter if you can just reload it. sure they might mess with t again but just wait till they leave.

1. I believe they already patched that... if not, oh well.

2. If you dislike that happening, just dont let people into precious levels. And if you do, you should be prepared for any crap.

3. Thats a good idea.

4. Just save your pod when your done making it all pretty n such. If they put feathers on you, start putting feathers on THEM. Or kick em.

5. Is that really a problem? Especially in a pod?

You think they AREN'T doing that? The only reason it looks like that is because they're only publicizing the new parts. Yeah, they're totally going to make a LBP2 trailer that lists all the tiny bugs they fixed.

They already fixed that. Have you ever thought that maybe your internet just sucks?

Or, you could be responsible, and not let someone in your level that you think is going to mess it up. This is your problem, not theirs.

Why not just go into the level, or take the two seconds to add a title?

Do you only friend people who like messing things up? First your level, now your pod. You may want to choose non-stupid friends if that's the case.

Then stop letting yourself get hit? Plus, the only person that it matters is you while you're at the controller, and you can't get hit then. So why do you care?

If you don't wanna play with peoeple from other countries then leave whenever you join or kick when they join... -_-

How about just not letting people who you know will do that, into levels you're working on?

If you can't remember what level is what, or just too lazy to put a badge for your levels, I don't see how that's anyone's fault's but yours there dude, or if not, just enter and see what level is it, if not the one you wanted, exit it, shouldn't take more than a few secs.

Again, simply don't let people who do that join you, besides, you can save pods now, does it really matter?

Oh come on, no offence, but now you're just being whiny, again, like most others, if you don't like slappers, don't let them join!

Dude, none of thaose are glitches or game problems, they're internet connection and/ or personal problems of yours.
My reccomendation for all your problems?
Don't play with people online and just buy with friends on your console (you know, with other controllers.)

That should eliminate all.
- No lag
- Won't leave stuff lying around that you're not aware off and can't delete right away
- And if they start bothering yu by messing yer pod, or keep slapping you can settle it in real life.

Look, most of your problems here can easly be solved if you just monitor who does and who doesn't join you m8.
Remember if you can't handle slapping and people start slapping you a lot, simply leave, always save pods that you like, and never invite "messy people" to important levels you're working on and all these "glitches" as you call them, should go away.

EDIT: And add all that moony said, between both posts it should cover all.

While we're at it, why don't we add 10 Sackbotz, Real Watorz, 100 pieces of small cardboard and Bounce Padz on the walls to the Pod...

...and then cry about loading times three times longer because the PS3 is busy doing something else...

Why did you not invite them to a blank level? They give you a option to save or not

Put a picture on the level so you'll remember

You can bring back your pod after you save it...

LBP is perfect to me right now! Except the Bomb/Shark Survival levels and 50 ZOMGZ JumpZ!!

Guys, no need to be rude. Although most of the problems listed by the OP can be easily fixed and are not the responsibility of the creators of the game, you don't have to speak to them in such a condescending way. Let's all play nice.

1. Limit to local areas??? What? Meeting with people around the world is half the fun. I have some of the worst wi-fi available and I am able to get a fine connection with anyone. Besides they are improving their network for LBP2.

2. Only let someone you trust into your moon, really it's your own problem.

3. I guess there is no problem with that, but we do not NEED it.

4. Again...Only let people you trust into your pod. Besides, you can reset the pod and your costume, so there is no problem. And only people you friend can sticker your pod.

5....seriously.

Sorry, but I don't see any problems there...

I thought this thread would be talking about the annoying pistons, how things like to glue to each other while using the corner cutting tool, quick small changes (like changing a switch colour) that don't save when you hit 'play now', how it takes one year to scroll down to find objects (I would like to organize them into groups!) the emitters that act weird when copied, weird sticker glitches, stuff like that.

Sweden and (south) Korea has one of the most fastest internet speeds in the world. So i don't think he's net would "suck" I just think he's so used to a high quality network and not some sort of half fast, mangled mess put together by duct tape.. err and he doesn't enjoy slight lag

Lag is a factor in all games. You can't just say "MM. FIX TEH LAGZ NAO!" and expect them to do it, because they can't. The only way you don't get any lag is if you're playing locally (same console). Any time where data is sent from console to console, there's going to be some time for it to get where it needs to be.

Just enjoy the crazy things that happen with lag. It can be quite funny
