LittleBigPlanet 1.5 (MASSIVE project)

I'm currently working on a project featuring 20 levels under the title LittleBigPlanet 1.5. These levels will contain 100 new stickers (I'd do more, but 100 is the limit for community stickers ;_ and about 30 objects (minimum). These levels are to be designed similarly to the official Media Molecule levels, meaning: There will be 3 per theme These levels will NOT involve SackBoy talking These levels will use no glitches (exceptions will be made) The story is pretty simple... SackBoy is invited to a party being held at The Park, to celebrate the upcoming release of LittleBigPlanet 2. The staff of Media Molecule is also to come to the party. When Sackboy arrives, he finds an evil wizard is kidnapping the some of Media Molecule's staff, so the wizard can have LBP2 all to himself. It is up to SackBoy to travel all over LittleBigPlanet to find the remaining staff members, protect them, and rescue the ones who were kidnapped. The current themes are: 0 - Introduction A simple level containing each member who has helped with the project. 1 - The Park Creator Curator: Queen Honeybee (Possibly subject to change) A Theme Park based level, setting up the story. There is no "gameplay theme" for these levels; These levels are simply meant to be simple, charming, and fun. The first level will be the actual theme park, containing rides, carnival games, and the like. The second will be an "on-rails" level via roller coaster; It will not be a "roller coaster level" in the sense the player will have no control, rather a better comparison would be to the first act of the MGS pack, just... funner... <.<;. Finally the third level will be a fun house. Similarly to the third level of The Gardens, the difficultly level will rise greatly, but not too much. 2 - The Beach Creator Curator: UNDECIDED The gameplay theme here will be mostly platforming and swimming, with minimal puzzles. This level's content is for the most part undecided. 3 - The Cosmos Creator Curator: UNDECIDED An outer space themed area. This levels content is undecided. 4 - The Caves Creator Curator: UNDECIDED A set of levels which will be very skill-heavy. AGAIN, this levels content is for the most part undecided. 5 - The Factory Creator Curator: Cog Carl A set of levels that are very machinery-heavy. These levels will be mostly puzzle-based, with platforming tossed in at some points. The third level will end with a battle against a robotic T-Rex. 6- The Kingdom Creator Curator: King Arnold (Not to be confused with The King from The Gardens) The final area where the players skills are put to the test with a frustrating combination of skill, puzzles, and speed. The first level will feature an enchanted forest leading to the actual castle. The second level will be within the actual castle, battling knights and such to go through, and rescuing the king. The third level will be a dungeon, in which your goal is to escape. The fourth level will be a three-part showdown against the final boss. I could really use as much help as I can get. If you're interested in helping, add LBP1-5 as a friend, and send a photo of your main SackPerson. If you're interested in helping, but want to make a level all on your own, simply publish the level locked and copy-free, then send the key to LBP1-5. I have all DLC packs that are NOT holidays, so if you use holiday packs, I cannot publish it. Might want to change that area Good luck on you project! By that do you mean there's already a space-themed area, or is it actually called "The Cosmos"? Because LBP PSP recycled many concepts from the PS3 version, and simply renamed them, along with a few minor changes. I might be scrapping the roller coaster already... it's taking too much time to get a track that works and only runs 4 seconds... If anyone here is skilled in roller coaster design, I'd really appreciate your help. Here goes... Creator curator ideas: The Beach- Cap'n RedBeard The Cosmos- Astronaut Phil the Caves- Ronnie rat The Beach levels: 1. Barney's dock: meet the captain and explore the docks. Not so hard. lots to collect. 2. S.S SinkProof: Help the captain gather stock for your journey out to sea. 3. Calm Before the Storm: try to keep the boat afloat as you avoid the raging waves and battle a giant octopus... the Factory levels: 1. metal renascence: something is awakening within the furnace of Carl's factory, a platforming level 2. Gassed Careen: The creature is lurking and the lights are off. A scary and difficult level. 3.Dinotic rage: A metalic T-rex emerges and you must battle in a skuldozer type level The Caves levels: 1.Mushroom waltz: a difficult level in which you must hop and bounce on mushrooms to reach Ronnie 2.Sodden walls: the cave is coming down and you have fallen deep into the cave. Wow... there are rollercoaster TYPES!? Um... <.<; Basically what I had in mind was using the shoot-thru-walls glitch to make a coaster where sackboy wouldn't be flung out, but could still shoot thru the walls with the paint gun. I think there is a part in LBP2 called the cosmos and it's for the handmade arcade theme because your on a spaceship and I do remember seeing that word mentioned there so yeah I'd change the name. Just saying, if this is as big as you're saying, you should probably wait till LBP2 What with everyone switching to then in a few months, and a project of this magnitude taking more then 3 months (trust me ;- so it may be better in the long run to make it in LBP2. Sounds interesting. Will the checkpoints contain infinite life or "story level" styled old checkpoints? I don't like those things... Not in multiplayer. Infinite lives are usually better. Well, if you need help creating/decorating or even for simple gameplay elements, i might help. Yet; the school keeps me away so i might to spend more time for my own levels instead.
