As you may already know, ThisIsInsane recently left the site. :-( As a result the contest he was running was locked. I was wondering if anyone would like the contest to continue as I would be more than happy to takeover in Insane's place.

I'd rather not. I feel sad for him leaving, but that doesn't necessarily gives us rights to run his contest.

I think ThisIsInsane wouldn't mind at all - in fact, I think he'd love it if you would! I hate to disagree with CyberSora, and I do respect his opinion, but would have to vote that you do continue it...

I'm not speaking for ThisIsInsane but I'm sure if we give credit where credit is due, he probably agrees with it. Everybody enjoyed the challenge and it was a nice addition to the community contests area. So I say bring it back, in memory of ThisIsInsane.

I think it's a great idea for a contest, and very popular as well. It gives something for players to do as opposed to creators. And, as a bonus, the smack talking is hilarious. As for ThisIsInsane, I'm sure he wouldn't mind. I can try sending him an e-mail if you think it would be worthwhile to get his ok.

Are you sure the person who hacked his account didn't ask it to be banned? Actually, I'm pretty sure he himself asked that. ThisIsInsane asked for his account to be banned forever so that the hacker wouldn't return to LBPC. He figured since he was the one that kept getting hacked, if his account was deleted, the hacker would stop. I believe that is how it is, however, don't take me for sure - the mods are the only ones who really know...

I will contribute 500 exp to whoever continues these contests, or of course I can do them myself if you guys want. Maybe we can set up a committee of willing Prize Poolers? We'd vote on the level for the week/month/whatever, and all contribute Exp to prize pooling.

Hey, I exchanged e-mails with ThisIsInsane the other day and he says it would be great if someone could continue the contest. So, consider yourselves officially endorsed! As for points donations, I'll cough up 100XP every time the contest runs. Whoever ends up being in charge of this whole thing, just shoot me a PM whenever the contest closes and ask for your XP.
