I paid an extra ?10 for mine above what GAME was going to sell them for, that was to get it 9 days earlier than the original release date. I was in two minds whether or not to buy it then. That much more is rediculous.

That much more is rediculous. And that's more than a reasonable premium to pay to get the game more than a week early. In this case, I truly think more collectors are out to get the recalled version of the game than there are impatient people willing to pay crazy amounts of money just to get the game now.

I especially thought it was reasonable since it came special delivery, which GAME don't do, so it was okay.

I find this hilarious. The game has been here since the 15th, and the shop I go to is willing to sell it to me for $40. xD But I'm ready to wait through that week for a few reasons: - The game won't work online till later. - I could play through the single player and create modes, but it's not worth it without the rest of the world to race against. - I don't want to head back to the store every week, so I'll just get all the games I want in one fell swoop. =P

For a few reasons, but first and foremost being that my parents aren't fans of online... business deals. >_> Second, I'm not interested in making a whole pile of money by abusing what people do and do not have. Although, if I could, I would get a whole bunch of copies and give them away to you all... but then many wouldn't get one, and I don't want to have to pick favorites. >_<

I can't believe people would spend that much money. I mean I know it is a great game an awesome one at that but to be honest paying $250 that is too too much. But I guess if people want to spend that much it's up to them but I think I'll just wait for release day.
