Taking pictures of Games
Archive: 3 posts
I was just wondering what's the best way to take pictures of sprites like if I was making mario for example, and also if I put Mario on an object how would I make it wrap around the object without things like the sky in mario's background also being part of the image, I know how to do it with a thin layer, obviously just cut it out but anytime I try this with a thick object it always wraps all the unwanted parts of the picture around it aswell, I just want to know the best technique for doing that kind of thing, thanks a lot guys! | 2010-08-18 14:18:00 Author: Celticdoberman Posts: 26 |
When I had this problem I made a huge copy of the picture and cut it out. I then made a huge block behind the cutout and put the same sticker on it but enlarged as much as possible. In your case this will be mario's red colour. I went front veiw and took a picture. Effect: when you place the sticker where the yucky sky would be there would be a continuation of the mario red. Hoped that helped! | 2010-08-19 02:17:00 Author: AssassinatorRFC Posts: 715 |
Thanks for the help, that's what I'll do next time. I'm thinking of doing a metroid level, or maybe another sonic one and i just wanted to know before I start, Cheers! | 2010-08-19 04:06:00 Author: Celticdoberman Posts: 26 |
