It's material cutter for sure, something that lack of in LBP1 is pain in back parts for me sometimes. I didn't know about it, so thanks for thread anyway

Material cutter, as in making a (straight?) line inside a block of material, what will split it into those parts? Finally!

Hmmmm... it also might be custom shape draw, if ti's cutting tool there no point of choosing material

It's a shortcut there; make a block of material and get cutting. Doesn't bother me at least
