What do you guys think of it? Some say it's better than WoW, and it's totally free! I'm downloading it for a test run as we speak...I just wanna know what you guys feel about this game.

Meh, I prefer WAR. Much more fun in RvR for me. What's an MMO if killing your enemies isn't even fun.2008-10-20 08:27:00

Heh, you haven't heard of it? It should be the biggest MMORPG i hope, it definitely deserves it. You can actually have fun while working towards goals, the RvR is the best multi-player experience in an MMORPG I've seen.

I hate games like this, they're just time and life consuming, and I personally find them no fun whatsoever.

I have a friend who was hooked on WOW, he nearly lost his job due to it, but he's back on track, and is now a loyal PS3 gamer due to my persuasional tactics. One more thing the PS3 can do, a form of rehab for lost souls.

Might sound strange moving from WOW to PS3, rather than giving games up altogether, but it was advised by his pschychologist.

Anyway, you probably don't want to know about that. I just prefer sitting down to a bit of LBP rather than hours in front of a PC which sucks you up and spits you out.

Oh, Warhammer...

So? It's a great game. You shouldn't be turned off by the fact it's warhammer. Just means it has a much better back story and focus then other MMO's

No, I wasn't saying it like that. I just wasn't sure what you were talking about, but I've heard of Warhammer.2008-10-21 08:42:00

for a while i loved this game
for start you can play as a wolf, which is awesome

it has a few annoying flaws though like every race not having every class, and some classes force you to be male/female instead of giving you the choice
for example i think it's venomancer which is the only class that can have pets, and it forced you to be female

it's a pretty good game though for a while, you're given a lot of quests to begin with so you don't get bored leveling up (in most free mmos quests are rare and you end up grinding 90% of the time)

at level 20 though you're introduced to the annoyingly large and confusing capital city that's mostly just unnecessary empty space, and the quests don't give much direction either - i got bored and stopped playing at this point

i'd say it's definatly one of the better mmos, but i wouldn't say it's better than WoW

MMOs. Pfft.

Just play Oblivion, people!

And if your PS3 broke hopefully you're like me and have an Xbox with Morrowind on it.

Dude, I'm going to play Runescape.

Tried it a while ago. Fun concept, but was lacking and seemed quite unintuitave to play. Making you use the f1 buttons for attacks and 1-12 for items off the bat? Not really my thing, don't want to have to re-keybind a game as soon as I log in to be honest.

All in all, it seems to be just another "You grind many levels, you get many gear, you spend money to look pretty!" mmo's from asia. You do get much, much more than you paid for with this mmo, but it's nothing worth dragging me off WoW.

(Also, it seems to be a good idea to take any mmo that requires showing cleavage in it's adverts with a pinch of salt)
