FF7: Safer Sephiroth battle and costumeChrree A short costume level in which you have to beat Safer Sephiroth if you want to know how to make the costume. It's been a while since I realesed anything but right now I'm in the mood for Final Fantasy VII again so I made a level about my favourite FF character Sephiroth! Sephiroth is awesome and his goodlike form as Safer Sephiroth just owns so I tried to rebuild him in LBP. Wasn't easy though because I had to use almost every layer but I think I came up with a good idea for a boss battle. However, first you see a short tutorial about what to do in order fight him: http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/1145/aphoto1z.jpg Then the battle starts and instead in just standing infront of him in my level you have to jump on floating rocks where you can use materias to do different attacks: http://img812.imageshack.us/img812/2976/aphoto.jpg The blue materia makes a weak sword attack though it's faster then the others, the green one attacks him with a lightning spell and it's a bit slower then the blue and and the red materia is to summon a dragon which makes more damage then the other attack but therefor it's the slowest attack. While you are trying to beat Safer Sephiroth he randomly does 4 different attacks which I made look like from the game. After you managed to beat him you will automaticly get to the slums where you meat Cloud who tells you that you can get Safer Sephiroths outfit and the tutorial starts: http://img210.imageshack.us/img210/6103/aphoto2.jpg This is a short level for Final Fantasy fans and it's only about Sephiroth and the costume but I hope you like the details and ideas.

That was an awesome looking Sephiroth. The battle was pretty simple though, but the effects were nice. I tried to recreate the costume, but I had a bit of trouble with the wings because I couldn't see the bottom parts because of the floor. Maybe you could put some kind of podium or box to stand on so that we can better see the bottom when placing the wings? (Though maybe there was one and I simply didn't notice it, I am kind of sleepy at the mo). It was also pretty hard to re-read the explanations because the Magic Mouths radius is big enough that they overlap. You could hook them up to smaller radius Sensor Switches or to some kind of Grab Switch instead. The costume looks great though, I'll try to recreate it again when I'm more awake. Amazing level dude. I love it! the character design and overall. (Maybe just make it a little tougher?) But I love the effects and stuff. You gotta give me a tour on how to do this, I've always wanted to make a level similar like this (But I suck at designing boss or creatures ) But I love it!!. Nice battle, a little easy but its nice, The Sephiroth character model looked perfect. The costume was nice but difficult to make, I kept missing the second speech bubble and was unable to read it again, I would have them grab controlled that way you can read them when you like. I rated it 5 stars, very nice level, also I loved cloud

Thank you all! I will see what I can do about the mentioned problems. About the fight, since the attacks are random it can be easy or difficult. For example a friend of mine tried to beat Sephiroth but got killed all the time because he just chose the wrong attacks at the wrong time. Anyway I think it's better if it's not too difficult because impatient players could give me a bad rating. @Gilgamesh Good idea with the podium. Maybe I'll add invisible plattforms so you can see everything. @Count Ok, I'll play your level as soon as I'm on my PS3 again. The music I used was from the Incredibles pack. @robotiod Too bad I couldn't use that song. I tried to make the song aswell but in LBP it's just impossible and for a boss battle simple piano music would have been too lame.

@psyntens Thank you! ^.^ I will play your level as soon as I'm on my PS3 again. @shadow3596&Silverleon First made a sticker and used it on my Sackboy, then I took a picture of him and put the picture on a material to cut it out. When I was done with it I cutted away the hair, designed one that looked more like the original, glued it on the cutout and also added the sword that way.

I changed the things you mentioned. First I made Sephiroths attacks more accurate and I added one thing that makes it much more difficult. You can only stand on one platform for a limited time before it kills you so you have to change the platforms all the time. I hope it's not too difficult now! xD Oh and I also added a background. Should look a bit more interesting and like the original now. I also changed the costume tutorial. Now you have to grab switches to read the describtion. I also added a treasure chest with a purple sticker and an invisible plattform to make it easier to put the wings on Sackboy. Tell me what you think.

This new battle is much more intense. I died the first time because I was standing on the platforms too long. The changes to the costume tutorial were great though. I managed to make the costume pretty easily this time around.

Arh. died. Please warn of limited checkpoint! Darn. Died again. Would be nice if you could skip the tutorial. And again. Yeah, I didn't see any indication before you get invisible white gassed. A warning would be wonderful. I didn't have enough patience to replay a fourth time, sorry. I think it may be too difficult/annoying/long for the average player. He looked cool though.
