..Or will we only be controlling sackbots? Think about it... you can't customize sackboy's controls, you can't make the "perfect double-jump" with a sackboy... There's a lot of stuff that you can't do with poor old original sackboy... even LBP is being taken over by technology... Discuss.

I know for a fact that I will DEFINITELY NOT only use Sackbots in my LBP2 creations. I'll balance it all out with some good ole' platforming, and I'm sure there will be quite a few creators who will do the same.

But say what if, in your level you had a high jump power-up, and once you collected it everytime you, say double-tapped X he would high jump. You can't do that with regular old sackboy...

I don't think too many stages are going to use things like double jump or any other move that Sackboy can't do. I don't know if you've looked at the cool levels page recently, but the majority of the community are unimaginative rip-off artists that think sharks, bombs, and jumps are all there is to the game. Personally I welcome the use of Sackbots if the stage calls for a specific costume (that's what I'll be using it for), or if there's some new awesome gameplay that comes from an ability that the Sackboy can't do. I'm sure that nearly every player created stage will play similarly to LBP1, and let you use your Sackboy of choice. I've gotten myself depressed while writing this... I'm having visions of shark-bomb-jump-survival-ninja-training-destroy-mega-city stages with better lighting and new tools...
