Eagerneph's Signature Collection (Growing) and Requests Thread

Well, this started out as a showcase to show how my progress was coming with my GIMP projects and stuff, but it turned into kind of a collection of the sigs that I've been making. So that's what it will be from now on. But if you want a request done than leave what you want on the sig and I'll try to get it to you as soon as I can. I'm relatively new to signature making but you can take a look at what I've done so far below. (Just click the tab)

Really cool! We used Gimp in school a couple years ago, I love that program!! I make all my pics with it, including my avatar and sig. Btw your sig just gets better and better Be sure to look at Filters | Render | Pattern | Qbist. It can make a lot of awesome patterns		2010-08-17 02:20:00

to make a awesome border do this

Make a new layer and move it to the top
make sure you are on the layer
Pick black as a color
go to Select at the top then click select all
Go to Edit>Stroke Selection>keep all the settings the same, except make line width 9
Click Stroke
Pick white as a color
Edit>Stroke Selection> pick 6 as a stroke width this time
Click Stroke
Pick Black as a color
Edit>Stroke Selection pick 4 as a stroke width
On the layer menu set your border layer's mode to Overlay		2010-08-17 04:20:00

Thanks Boomy! I was trying to figure out how to put that IMG link without having the picture actually show, so it would be just the link.

and @ alternative sack, I just used some brushes and different lighting effects. And also used some of those Alpha to Logo things. Before I made that first sig I just did some messing around and stuff to figure out what most things did. I'm still figuring things out though.		2010-08-17 14:17:00

Oh, that's called Birth of a Hero. I got it at that 1001 free fonts place.

That looks really good!
You really need to find overlay though!! you have a little layer Box open correct? well its just in the layer box, in the little layer box it should say mode at the upper part of it just above all the layers		2010-08-19 17:39:00

Remember play around with Filters! Anyway awesome sig, the only thing i could say bad about it is maybe tone down the brightness a bit? It seems a bit too bright but thats just me anyways its still an awesome sig!		2010-08-20 00:43:00

Ha you remind me of when I started, I used GIMP for like a week solidly experimenting, rolling out like 10 sigs a day.
