xD yea I had fun. twas the exciting moment of the day, as I came back from getting the mail... His face IS pretty scary though D: lol. I actually once saw a giant orange caterpillar about the same size. Like a bright orange. That was really cool - it was on a vacation in a forest though, not in front of my house But yeah, this guy was almost as thick as two fingers and at least as long as the middle finger.

But the caterpillar's not just a little long - it's also just really thick and tall, at least compared to all the usual caterpillars I see which are generally cute, tiny, and fuzzy

You guys you need to stop calling it caterpillar of doom, haven't you ever watched spongebob? When Spongebob and Patrick are playing with there caterpillar called wormy, wormy is nice and friendly, but then when it turns into a butterfly it is actually BUTTERFLY OF DOOM!

I am not familiar with your sort of shoe size number, though a shoe size converter told me it is something like 43, the european normal (?) measurement, so around as big as my feet I believe. Once in an animal park I found one of those really hairy ones probably at the same size as that one. I found it really cool and spent some time watching it before moving it into some bushes as it was in danger of being stepped on.

Wow cool. I can't imagine one of those normal fuzzy one of that size lol. Ha this one was actually making its way towards the road, and so I picked it up on that small stick you can see in those pictures and took it back to some grass away from the road. But it just started making its way right back towards the road so... D: At least it's probably not coming after me anymore!
