What could it mean? http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f277/schm01978/baiyon.jpg Baiyon, the Japanese graphic artist known recently for his artistic work on the popular PixelJunk Eden game, is visiting MediaMolecule today. English site: http://baiyon.com/english/ Art: http://wetside.jp/ It would be interesting to see his take on LBP2, wouldn't you say? Is this a potential LBP2 add-on pack? Or do you think he'll be contributing directly to LBP2? | 2010-08-16 15:23:00 Author: schm0 Posts: 1239 |
ohhh that's curious...hmmm I'd like to say stickers - But could just be a courtesy visit | 2010-08-16 15:27:00 Author: Mrgenji Posts: 803 |
Sounds cool to me I hope it's an add-on pack | 2010-08-16 15:27:00 Author: Alec Posts: 3871 |
I hope it's more than just stickers. Haven't we heard that there will be 'filters' that we can put over entire levels, kind of like changing the color scheme? He he could be making some sort of interesting filter... That'd be cool to see... Or maybe some interesting look materials? | 2010-08-16 15:55:00 Author: LukeCF Posts: 790 |
NOOOOOOO!! No more stickers for christs sake. I've got a million useless stickers now. Give us something that's actually useful for a change. | 2010-08-16 16:02:00 Author: mistervista Posts: 2210 |
NOOOOOOO!! No more stickers for christs sake. I've got a million useless stickers now. Give us something that's actually useful for a change. Remember it's possible to collapse folders of stickers that you rarely use, and the pop-it can be made full screen! I'm looking forward to seeing Baiyon's contribution! I'm expecting something like this: http://www.jeriaska.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/eden_banner.png | 2010-08-16 16:12:00 Author: Rhys125 Posts: 841 |
Probably stickers and stuff, but it is possible he's helping with something else... | 2010-08-16 17:09:00 Author: piggabling Posts: 2979 |
Well, I finally found out what Baiyon was doing out there in Guildford: http://kotaku.com/5639405/what-is-pixeljunk-lifelike-anyway In this unrelated article, Baiyon fesses up he's dropped some tunes down to be shipped on the LBP2 disc (in addition to PixelJunk's LifeLike, a music visualizer.) | 2010-09-20 02:54:00 Author: schm0 Posts: 1239 |
Nice detective work, there, schm0. | 2010-09-20 02:57:00 Author: comphermc Posts: 5338 |

Thanks schm0! This is exciting, I hope it's stickers! Uh, it's music. Well, that's the only part that's confirmed at least. Most likely there will be art work as well, but who knows? | 2010-09-21 18:05:00 Author: schm0 Posts: 1239 |
Could it be Mm heard my suggestion of Baiyon for LBP2!? I know this is already from a game, but I think this song would fit well (and maybe some others). It's by an artist called Baiyon http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HgkODdJi6lk | 2010-10-12 16:31:00 Author: maddoggnick96 Posts: 272 |
Thats great Eden music is cool and LBP2 music is already cool, so this mean LBP2 music will be even cooler. I would not expect inclusion of PixelJunk games music, but something original | 2010-10-12 16:38:00 Author: Shadowriver Posts: 3991 |
*crosses fingers for pixeljunk costume pack*...specially for pixel junk shooter to get a diving suit costume to make me a perfect big daddy | 2010-10-13 10:22:00 Author: Shadowcrazy Posts: 3365 |

It's not that hard to subscribe to kotaku, is it? But still, this is great news. | 2010-10-13 17:36:00 Author: Arkei Posts: 1432 |
Could it be Mm heard my suggestion of Baiyon for LBP2!? Not trying to be mean, but have you ever heard the "If infinite monkies infinetly type in typerqritteers for an infinite amount of time, then one will surely type all of Shakespere's plays. " thing? Same applies here, if thousands of people keep suggesting thousands of songs (worldwide, not just @ LBPC) then the probability that Mm coincidentally picked one from which the users suggested is quite likely, don't you think? | 2010-10-13 17:45:00 Author: Silverleon Posts: 6707 |
