This is just a rep suggestion so lock it if you want but here it goes: After someone reaches the max rep bars and if that someone keeps getting rep shouldn't be awesome that the green rep bars start turning blue or any other color cuz i have seen many people with a lot of rep(CC) so what do you guys think???

Um CC is the only person that has reached max though so its pointless, anyway holy sackpeople how do you have 3 rep bars! I had to be here like a year to get my 2nd

You really shouldn't read too much into rep. It doesn't really do anything for you after a certain point (you can get profile upgrades, but those won't be tied to rep for long). Think of it as an indicator of site experience. It's not a perfect system, as anyone can invariably gain significant rep if around long enough, but it does serve as a 'quick-glance' of who is helpful around the site. That said, multiple colors will only add confusion to this purpose. New members to the site would need a lesson in understanding the color scheme. Thus, it's not going to change. Sorry. If anything, the rep indicators should change so that maxing out doesn't occur so quickly. I know a lot of people would be upset by that, as we would all (for the most part) be demoted to lower rep, as per the indicator.

Actually... I know CC said it was possible to get rid of all rep that wasn't thanks... If so, why don't we do that? I know that rep isn't important or whatever, but it still seems kinda unfair that some people can't ever catch up on rep no matter how helpful they are because some people have hundreds of rep from before thanks. So, you say that it is to help newbies know who is helpful or something. So if someone like me has a lot of rep from people repping me back in the rep power days, g, then people who registered after me are, by default, thousands of rep behind because I have the advantage of rep from a day when people could give out as much rep as they wanted? I just don't see what the point is in allowing rep from before thanks became the only rep powah still there, since it skews everything and makes the whole system worthless. WORTHLESS I TELLZ YA

To see who has more than that, I went to the LBPC XP tab, clicked on Reputation twice to toggle between least to greatest and greatest to least, and the following people have max rep gems: ConfusedCartman, rtm223, comphermc, Taffey, Morgana25, CCubbage, Rocksauron, jwwphotos, CyberSora, amazingflyingpoo, Incinerator22, Doopz479, TheZimInvader, Aya042, xkappax, MrsSpookyBuz. So, a lotta people. On Topic: I don't think a color matters very much. Anyone who looks at the gems could already see there are 11. It would also be bad on the eyes in my opinion to have two colors for rep gems.
