You are an exploring an ancient temple. Try to get the maximum score and reach the leader board as you dodge traps and discover secret rooms.
Hi

So, this is my first level. The main goal is not quite getting to the end, it is to get the best score you can reach. There are 2 modes, easy and hard, on easy mode, you have checkpoints but the secret room rewards are disabled ( recommended, best way to enjoy the level), on hard mode, you have no checkpoints but the secret room rewards are enabled (best way to reach the leader boards).

There are three secret rooms. They get easier to find as you progress though (the first one is hard to find).

I tried to give it a creepy environment, and to put as much action as I could, but I'm not very good at level design.

1 player recommended.

And I will improve my level as you guys give suggestions.

Man that was hard!!! Not a bad thing though.

Positives:
-Really fun platforming elements (something thats really hard to pull off!!)
-Great atmosphere in the darker areas with wind etc

Negatives:
-Camera sometimes show too much off what you have just done, and not enough of whats next, makes it a bit difficult
-need closer check points at some points, just to help flow, I had to jump down a massive hole and climb through rubble about 5 times !
-A bit repetetive, but just because the checkpoints are so sparse

Suggestions for polish:
-make the prize bubbles connected by invisible rods

Overall, pretty good. I dont really have any advice for design. Your platforming is really good. Maybe try to make the scenery more... organic I guess. have a look at real caves or temples and stuff and try to decorate them like that. Its pretty hard to just do it off the top of your head.

I just thought there were too many easy levels. I wanted to make one for the toughest players.

I tried to make it as Crash bandicoot as I could.

I thought about that, but for the easy/ hard modes, the checkpoints had to fall from some boxes, and it's hard to put them on some of the level parts.
