+ Loved the double string platforms.
+ sticker switch. Not enough of these in levels.
+ "You've got red on you".
- Couldn't see what the first two switches were doing.
- Mine cart was very anti-climatic.
- Transformers line was confusing. :/
+ I'm watching 24.
+ More fun dialog from the two box characters.
+ LBPC logo + hand. I might have to steal that.
- Boss HP was too high for my liking.
+ Angel cube.
+ Son twist at end.
+ Concrete donkey!
- Missed magic mouth at scoreboard
EDIT: You should hook the MM to an offscreen sensor switch so it doesn't activate.

Great characters, funny dialog, vibrant colours, lots of interactive sound stickers. Great all 'round.
I would sticker the cacti as they looks dull compared to the rest.
Cool stuff! Must play 5 stars.

F4F link in sig. Thanks for the fun.

Just saying, the magic mouth at the end is only for decoration, it has no speech

I absolutely loved this level! It was just a fun level! There aren't too many of these around anymore.

Pros
- I absolutely loved the humor! I laughed so much!
- The atmosphere was very... happy! I loved it.
- The gameplay was superb.
- The Boss was awesome.
- I love how you grab the enemies head to kill them.
- The hand holding up Little Big Planet Central was great.

Cons
- I think I cheated on the part where the colorful cubes are up on the hill. I ran up the side of the wall and grabbed the circle with the ears, swung over and pushed the red cube off the cliff. I just got a little confused.

Overall, this level was fantastic.

Thanks for the feedback guys! I'll check out your levels when I get the time.

@ShamgarBlade

You were supposed to sticker the cube. :/ I'll make that more obvious.

Interesting level trip. The visuals are well made with stickers and certain materials and the characters looked funny [especially the 2 evil cubes]. The gameplay is pretty decent but the boss battle is awesome. However some dialogues are hilarious and the donkey concrete part is a major crack up. Overall it's a good level but not quite as great as your other level "Dimension Warp". 4 stars.

I thought this level was a heaping helping of fun slathered in awesomesauce.

I loved the humor.

The first puzzle was a hoot. It didn't take long to run out of options and pull up my pop-it... and what a payoff!

Cowboy Ninja Gypsy Pirates. No level is complete without them.

Loved the little details like the hand holding the LBP sign and the satelite dish on the cactus.

Mine cart rides are always ftw. One day, I will make a successful one.

The boss fight was much fun!

Really, absolutely nothing I would change in this level. Just brilliant.

More insane humor at the end. Loved it.
:star::star::star::star::star: and a <3. This is a must play for anyone with a funny bone!

I'd love an F4F on my level, Invasion of the Sack Men From Space! Thanks!

Sorry for double post/bump.

I've taken into account your feed back and made a few changes. The cacti are now much more colourful (I agreed with midnight_heist) and the sticker puzzle is now a lot more obvious if you hang around for too long.

Thanks again guys for your feedback!

This level was insanely fun.
I loved how stickers look like they've been randomly placed, yet they blend in with the mood of the level perfectly. The characters you made are simple and charming, and I loved how the cubes reacted when you grabbed them.
Great use of sounds everywhere and excellent choice of music in different parts of the level.
Gameplay was brilliant, I didn't have much trouble playing it with another player, although there was a part where we had to stand on one point for some time to continue, and it took us some time to realize that.
Unfortunately we couldn't get to the scoreboard because the wall wouldn't move or anything. I'll give it a try alone next time just to check if something didn't work.
I wouldn't change anything about the level, it takes you back to the original random LBP mood and I love that.

I'd appreciate some feedback on my level (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=33402-Evelyn), even if it's not marked as F4F (I'm trying to get that fixed).

Pros:
-Awesome first impresion: Everything moves, is happy, jumps around, colors are vibrant
-Text: Most of it is funny. Rest I probably just didn't get(For example transformers line and superboy line).
-Superboy area: Those squashy sounds the monsters made were fun.
-Boss: Cool, multiple forms, nice finale with the angel.
-Camera work

Cons:
-Superboy area: Maybe fun, but bit too long.
-Boss: But first form has little too much HP and is irritating. I sometimes get killed as soon as I got out of the gate which ain't good.
-Mine cart: Get rid of that section. Seriously do. Some people probably would try to ace your level, but you kill them off in the middle without a reason just to show some stupid Lolz sign.
-The Son: Maybe just me, but I didn't realize at first the son was possible to grab because he was flat.
-LBPC Logo: I would prefer it to be at the very beginning or next to level end. At that point it kind of distracts from the level.

Somehow I got an impression the first part of the level is much better made than 2nd. And I would say the mine cart area is the dividing point. First part has nice platforming ideas, like the bridge with ropes while 2nd is a bit bleak in comparision.

Very good level! Now, here's a review!

Pros:
+Very vibrant, coloful, and cube-y!
+ Good sticker usage
+ Very funny text
+ Fun, simple platforming.

Cons:
- Only one con. At the mine cart area (The second one) when I grabbed the mine cart, it hit the thing blocking it, but when I got inside it, it wouldn't move. I tried jumping across the pillars, but I couldnt get very far. I couldn't finish the level either. However, everyone else seems to be able to, so I probably did something wrong.

From what I played, it was well put together, and very fun! Lots of laughs too!

:star::star::star::star::star: and a <3 Job well done!

Please play my newest level, The Burning Forest (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=33408-The-Burning-Forest) Thanks!

Thanks for all the feedback guys!

@Flynn
The door opens when you give the son back to the dad. I'll make that more obvious. But I'm glad you enjoyed the level!

@TheAreinu
I would take out the mine cart section if it really bothered people that much but I can't. And the LOLZ sign is stupid. I'm sorry on the other hand that you can't ace it but the majority of levels now you can't ace, thanks to teleporting methods like that. But if it's any consolation, there's no acing prize. As for the quality of the 2nd part, I've always thought it was better than the first part myself. I wanted it to be a bit more tense as it was the lead up to the boss. Hope you had fun though.

@Laharl
Glad you enjoyed the level but I'm sorry you encountered that bug. Did you try spawning another mine cart?

I spawned many carts, but to no avail I'll go play the level again and see if it was just something I did. I'll edit this post with what happened.2010-08-18 08:50:00

hey man thanks for playing my level and leaving feedback!
i was really surprised buy your level it was so much fun. i was surprised because from the title, i expected it to be one of those levels where u have to race through and push cubes out of ur way n stuff, but it was not!
lots of fun characters, and story, and gags and a huge boss made it great fun to play, and personally i never get bored of mine cart rides hehe.
boss was very hard tho found my self dying every 5 secs but jus runnin out again shootin like a madman haha.
5stars for u

I really enjoyed this level. It's cartoony fun feel was a nice change to all the levels that strive for realism and it was well designed with fun game play. The only thing I didn't like was the many many magic mouths filled with a fair amount of text. Having to stop and read them really broke up the smooth gameplay that was otherwise going on. I did start skipping them but some did actually contain useful information like being told to sticker that person and to only tap R1 on the lauch blocks.

But besides the magic mouths, which other people seemed to have enjoyed anyways, it was a very good level.

Again, I've taken into consideration your feedback and improved the level. The boss' first phase HP is lower (about 20 shots lower) on each hand/arm thing. Certain magic mouths have had their text changed. How to open the door at the end is a lot more obvious now.2010-08-18 19:17:00

Hey man! I just got the chance to give this level a play!

I loved your somewhat canyons theme. I really liked the materials that you used and everything. Your decorations and stickers were awesome! Those really made the level come alive and look great! I really had no problems with the level at all and the gameplay and story was great!

It was an instead 5 star and heart level! Great job man! Keep up the great work!

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!

Taking into account what TheAreinu said, I spruced up the ending by making the floor separate on all three layers and adding some more cacti, just to make it that bit more fun.

Thanks for the feedback everyone!

Calamity of Colourful Cubes by trip090

Positives:
My first impression is the level looked and felt like an Mm level, which is great. Cute intro character coming up from the ground, great stuff! I loved your story and character dialog, it was cute, funny, and entertaining. The level was certainly colorful.

The platforming was very easy, but satisfying.

The sound effects were really cute all around... Landing on the duck sponge, and having it quack... well... it quacked me up. The face door puking when you jumped out of it... good stuff.

Is it me, or did I see Kenneth's face change when I killed him?

Sebastian and Roger were awesome.

The look and concept of your two stage boss was great, and it was well constructed.

Suggestions:
I didn't like the three layer deep structures you used at the beginning left edge of the level, the steps after the quacking duck sponge, the start of the mines.

After the cliff collapse there are two magic mouths that pop up. The first one was getting into politics. The second mouth timed out, before I finished reading the first one, so I never saw what it said. (I'm sure it was funny, though.)

I've never been a fan of death transport, to me it doesn't make sense to kill sackboy to move him to another area. (I guess if you created a level where a sackboy was transported to purgatory, heaven, or hell, I would think differently)

I thought the timing for the safety platforms and swinging laser death for the first stage boss was a little off. You lose about 3 seconds of being able to paint the targets. It would have been a little more polished if the paint targets closed first, which would have acted as the clue to get to the safety platforms prior to the laser death swings.

Aesthetics: :star::star::star::star: (a little CE'ing on the 3 layer deep elements for the fifth :star
Story: :star::star::star::star::star:
Gameplay: :star::star::star::star:
Characters: :star::star::star::star::star:
Boss: :star::star::star::star:

Overall: :star::star::star::star: and tagged "Cute".
I also <3'ed you as a creator, since between this and Dimension Warp, I definitely want to keep an eye on you!
