Everything has its opposite. Actions have reactions. Light has darkness. Matter has antimatter. Good has evil. And LittleBigPlanet has The Desolation Realm. The opposite to us Sackpeople call themselves 'The Negatives,' and they will stop at nothing to encase our ethos, Play, Create and Share, in darkness. But the last bit of light is the hardest to snuff out. This is an idea for a series I'll make when I get LBP2. I'm not going to start it in LBP because of the many new features and materials I may start liking, but I have made up many rhymes to use in cutscenes. A lot of the story will be told through rhyme. Of course I have to put myself in the story, as a kind of protagonist and sidekick to the player, but also maybe as a playable character. Tom will crash-land (in an escape pod) into the farm where the player lives. You will have to guide him back to your house, where he will tell you why he is there; an evil race from the other end of the universe have taken over his city. Tomodon246: "Let me tell you the story of how this war began, With two mad scientists and their terrible plan, Of smashing particles together to see what would happen, But then came a surge of the power they were sappin'." "The Hadron Collider they had built was vast, And made an explosion quite unsurpassed, They burst from the rift, an unholy swarm, And deep in their hearts is a tundra, not warm. " "Their first act was looting, the pillaged and banned, All fun-time and merriment in this, our fair land, But rumours were spreading, like wildfire they did, That way out, in this valley, from the wrath some had hid." "The rumours are true, this place I've stumbled upon, Is safe, a utopia, but I must forge on, After preparations are made it is East I must go, The takeover of my world is the thing I must slow." "One man survived, but the other was changed, The darkness made him oh so deranged, They parted ways, fled into the night, They get closer and closer to their final fight." "The battle of two kings, both with power ill-gotten, The ruler of dark and the one who's forgotten. " That HUGE rhyme will be one big cutscene which makes up most of the introduction level/s. There will be 4 worlds, each with 2-3 levels: The Farm (intro) This will probably be two levels, which are both cutscenes After that the levels split into two paths, as the are two halves of 'The Tome of Tom,' a book with the power to stop evil. The Forest: Contains one half, guarded by forest creatures and negatives alike. The LAByrinth (Underground, maze-ey lab of the 2 scientists) This lab was abandoned so a Hobo named Morris has taken up residence. The negatives have swayed him to their side and have provided him with Raul, (said Raool) a gigantic demon. To get through the forest you must ride flying Jellyfish, to get underground you must ride in a subway-train-sized earthworm. The city (Final show down, liberation; knocking down towers which are hypnotising the city-dwellers into submission) Tom and his team of not-so-elite super-average guys will have crash-landed in a giant escape pod fired from his city. Inside this pod there will be: Tom- Leader. Tragically can't think up inspirational words to say, so copies them from movies and video games. Power: grapple hook. Tim- Munitions expert. Doesn't talk much. Power: Creatinator which shoots fire. Ted- Giant. Power: Grabinators. Ned- Midget. Wise-cracking leprechaun who can fit inside small passage ways. Picks up on Tom's tragic lack of imagination every time. Should be good.

and the dark king sat on his throne, he had every reason to moan he once had a castle a sweet one too but then came an enemy most new they were sackboys it seemed but they acted very mean their skin shined as though metal it gleemed and they attacked blew up everything in sight and people ran everywhere in fright fight, destroy, steal is what they had exlamed the opposit of ours the key to our fame sackboy = metalboi so can i help out? i have a lbp1 boss that would go perfect with this the metalboi

Honestly, reverse world is a bit of a weak word. Doesn't LBP2 take place in CraftWorld? It could be something better, in my opinion. Like, littlebigplanet is all about creation, so the opposite world could be called like Destruction World or something, I don't know. Something better than Reverse World, though. That names a bit cliche. A cool concept, though, I'll give you that.

yeah nice idea, i hope it goes well for you. maybe the sackboys from the negative lbp could be in the neon costume, as though the developers never got round to giving them textures? just thought it might be cool...

Thanks for all of the ideas! Before my exams started I was thinking about this alot. I have a pad full of doodles which I'll put on as soon as I source myself a scanner. I hope I can make these levels, I'm not the best creator. Flying Jellyfish, a robotic earthworm, floating eyeballs..... I'm so excited!

Juuuust peekin' in, the opposite of a sackboy should still be called something kinda similar, like "The Un-Stitched". In my opinion.
