I don't think it should be locked. If people don't have things to add then the thread will simply die....like my Labrador retriever died (and she's still dead).

I think for a lot of people the saddest moment in their life is something they'll not want to share with loads of strangers, I know I don't. This thread is going to raise a loooooooooot of issues me thinks.
