Crash Bandicoot

Archive: 14 posts

As i was searching for levels, i didn't come upon very many crash bandicoot levels, there was a few but they were all pretty bad D:, so that made me want to start creating a Crash Bandicoot level! I got Crates, TNT, and Nitro from Crash Item Levels, I even have a checkpoint
I have spent some time working on the level already, there is one thing i require from the community though!
I need someone to make me some good enemies Maybe they could be crash themed some what, but i just want GOOD enemies
So if you could help send me a messege on PSN or here D:

I played a perfectly decent "future" level from crash 3, can't remember the name.
Is the checkpoint you got the one that folds out?

What theme is the level you are making? (ice/lava/robots/etc)

Hey Snrm, just reading your OP to mrv and he said have you played a level called 'Crash Bandicoot' by Smacker_92?

He says the characters are very good in there and they are given away as prizes

I have an idea, you know the enemies that looked like made scientists with the opaque glasses/goggles, you should make them for the retro crash feel

and don't forget the bonus stage please

Midnight i'm making it more of a sandy theme from Crash Bandicoot one maybe a little forest since thats how the first crash was.

And for some reason i have never played that... i hink, idk i don't remember getting any characters besides the floating mask (i forget his name now for some reason ) and a Crash.
But thanks MrV, and MrsV i will check it out

The mask was aku aku.

I've always wanted to see a good crash level. Plenty of platforming elements that could be translated. Good luck!

You could get really creative enemy wise, but the level would need to have a proper Crash bandicoot feel and pacing.2010-08-16 19:06:00

I don't think it'll be that easy getting the proper Crash Bandicoot feel, unless of course you work on every little detail like the wumpa fruits, crates, AkuAku, Gems and Crystals and add in every little effect possible.

So quick question: Are you going more for a "Crash Bandicoot stage feel" or just a level based around Crash? 2010-08-17 16:54:00

I just made 2 new Crash Bandicoot inspired levels! I got caught up in making some scenery and 3d glitch backgrounds.
