Gravity Boots & Slow Mo♥

Gravity Boots:
A nice power up which changes the gravity direction. Good for puzzle levels, jump'n'runs and adventures.

Slow Mo:
Activated by a switch or a trigger. Or used with the cinematic-Cam. Used for Slow Motion in LBP 2 games.
Up to x0.2 Speed. Good for Racing games, Jump'n'runs, shooters, action games and cinematics/Movies.

I could live without Gravity Boots, but Slow-Mo!? Slow-Mo would be so awesome! That would add a new element to the cinematic feeling of levels... 2010-08-14 17:52:00

Slow-Mo would HAVE to apply for sounds...
Imagine 0.25 slow mo + EPIC LAG... lolz

When they're at it, why not fast forward too?

Yes, MM should add slo-mo option to all cameras and top to that there should be also "fast-mo" and camera shaking options.


Slo-mo would be easy to create by tweaking how much game loop waits at end of it thus lowering FPS.

This idea would be decent with like a leap of faith ending of a level
But the only problem is, would it affect sounds? Like would it make a scream from a girl sound like a middle-aged man? Or make logic timers slow-down? In some cases, that could be both a pro and a con...

Maybe some tweaks to make it affect sounds/logic
