It's a race with many opportunities to rack up points!

Ohhh, a one material level, seems rather interesting.
I'll check it out next time I'm on LBP m8.
(Basic material, basic explanation, fits well I guess )

I don't know if I was into the generic theme. The puzzles in this, while generic, are well executed and fun, but the choice of material and lack of decoration gets pretty bland once you've had your laugh at the description. I'd either go through with speech bubbles and give a running commentary on just how generic everything is, in order to keep the funny coming, or just bite the bullet and give it new materials, some decoration and a fun title to add pizazz. That's just me though.

edit: btw, if you want to see a crazy funny level parody, check out the "level" series by Cornersting.

I completely understand, my original idea was only to make a parody of a "bet you can't beat this" level, and it turned out being fun to make. I thought the cardboard only look worked well in the beginning, but I can see how it could lose it's touch quickly. While I considered speech bubbles or maybe more floating words, I wanted to keep everything flowing without many interruptions. Thank you very much for the feedback, I really appreciate it!

Hmm. I will have to check this out.

Edit: I agree with SalaciousCrumbcake (Long name!) about the blandness of the level. I laughed at first, but it just got old. However, I absolutely loved the puzzle at the end with the water! That made the level for me! The other puzzles and obstacles were well executed as well.

Also, if you reeeaallly want to keep the "generic" part of your level alive, you can add more shape to your level or moving objects using only cardboard. I have seen a few levels made solely with cardboard that I thought were absolutely amazing!

Hope this helps!

@ShamgarBlade
I'm glad you liked the water puzzle, I was worried that people may not understand it. It was the most fun to make for me! I understand what you're saying about the cardboard becoming too bland, I don't know if I should focus on decorating the level or creating a new one. This level originally was only a joke and I just kept going until there was a scoreboard.

Good level there bud. While I agree with other people that there's a little style missing in there, the gameplay kept me interested until the end.
The water puzzle is also my favorite part (yeah, I am original it seems...)
But in my humble opinion, you shouldn't look back and simply do a new level (well, unless you're not inspired enough for an entirely new one). All I know is that we all improve bu making move levels and trying things.
