Through the Mind of an Architect...IowaSt130
This is my first post on LBP Central in hopes of upping my plays on my level(s). Pretty much, the level showcases my greatest Sackboy-sized houses that I have designed strictly for LBP.

Personally, I think a few of them are flawless and I would absoutely love to hear feedback on a few of my creations (good or bad! )

Thanks a ton!

Try to avoid double posting... just editing is fine.

I like the blimp. Muchly.

The yacht is beautiful, though it took me some time to figure out how to get it to go.

Like the house and the small boat.

Stairs look great! Check out Aya's "Garden of Goodies" and you'll find a way to make stairs that you can just walk straight up, but still look fantastic. That might help with your future architecture. The house looks great though, again (though I wasn't sure which way to go, and we got confused in the top room. Maybe give a little arrow to show that you should jump off the balcony).

The sailboat is nigh impossible to get out of... so... yeah. Again, like everything else, it looks awesome.

Well done, great showcase level! Everything was absolutely beautiful!

As far as architecture itself goes, I might look for a variety of color schemes. Most of your stuff is white and brown (or white and something), and, while it looks great, again, some variety would be nice. Also, you tend to use a lot of squares. While I adore this style of architecture, feel free to branch out and look at some different styles. Maybe some more natural houses with cantilevers and rivers running through them, or rounded houses, or just other styles. (for example, your yacht was the most different style you had, and it was, IMO, the most beautiful).

None of that is, of course, to say it looks bad because none of it does. Great job. I gave it five stars, because you're quite good at architecture and that's what you asked we rate it on.

If you'd kindly give feedback on my level, I'd appreciate it: Commander Keen: Goodbye Galaxy - Part II (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=33062-Commander-Keen-Goodbye-Galaxy-Part-II)

Ok. First off, the blimp is AMAZING. I absolutely love it! (Moving on.)

-The yacht is really fancy! I like the horn as well.

-I really loved the house. The work on the stairs and glass is fantastic! I would love to see this in a real level!

-The sailboat looked beautiful. I loved the design.

-While walking through the hall of one of your buildings, it gave me an idea. It would be really cool if you decided to build some thing like a modern day school building. You could add lockers or whatever. Just a thought.

-I thought that the last house was breath-taking, great job!

I honestly couldn't find anything wrong here. You are an awesome architect. :star::star::star::star::star: and <3

That was an visual masterpiece level even there's no gameplay involved. The Architecture of the houses are neatly modern and the boats looked amazing and fun to ride on. I also liked the idea of going inside the houses so that you can see what's on the inside. Overall great gallery level. 5 stars.

Great work and very detailed. I did get stuck on the bottom floor of one of the houses and couldn't find a way out so had to pop. Maybe I was missing something, not sure. Still very impressive though. There's obviously a lot of work gone into making those. They all look great and are nicely proportioned.

I agree with what Ryhas says about the stairs too. I find it's much better to use stairs that are easy to walk up because keep having to jump up lots of steps in any level does get tedious. I used the easy stairs trick in my 'Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea' level so if you wouldn't mind returning F4F on that level you can take a look at those stairs while you're in there. Thanks.
