PS3 Friendly Forum Skin?

Archive: 9 posts

I'm on these forums from my ps3 and its a BIT misplaced but not too bad that you can't navigate. Yet I'd like to see a PS3 compatible forum skin!

Why I'm on from the PS3 XD
My iMac's keyboard fried due to me spilling coca-cola haha!

Anyways... Having the loggin fixed at the top would be nice! Also the navigation bar. And maybe even widen the forums wrapper? Although it may be because I'm using a 1080p display but it'd still be cool like one for 1080p users! XD

I'll see about putting up pictures if the attachment function works with the PS3! ;D

EDIT: As suggested by shadow3596, it would also be nice to have a skin for the PSP. They'd only require 1 skin because of the fixed display.

TIP: Go to 'TOOLS>RESOLUTION' and choose -1 or -2. That can be used as a substitute for a nice wider forum wrapper!

Finally found a PS3 friendly image host! Link here! (http://www.freeimagehosting.net/)

UPDATE: The visitor messages are way below the forums .

Almost forgot the PSP! I'll add it on!
The PSP skin could just be one skin since it has it's own display.

The problem isn't that we don't support the PS3 browser - it's that the PS3 browser doesn't support us. The PS3's browser is horribly outdated and difficult to code for - it would be near pointless to attempt to reverse-engineer our site to meet its standards. The only way you'll see our site functioning normally on the PS3 is if the PS3 browser is updated in some fashion to support modern web development standards.2010-08-14 10:04:00

Never saw this post. But that doesn't mean there could be an extra forum skin which is downgraded or at least edited somewhat to look better. I'm about 99.9% sure that's possible. Because I mean most functions work fine. It's only the HTML & CSS that just need editing...

We used to have a "Mobile" version that got rid of all pictures and replaced it with blue backgrounds... I don't see why we can't bring that version back :/2010-08-14 20:29:00
