There are 3 secrets that emit arrows guiding you for the best combos. I want to tell you it is possible to have a combo going throughout a whole area. This is Part 1 of 4 in my bubble series, so I hope you enjoy this one! Please tell me if you find any issues, I want this level to be bug-free! I'd like to thank a number of people including VelcroJonze (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/member.php?8887-VelcroJonze) for inspiring me to make this, Xenon (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/member.php?9007-Xenon) for publishing invisible material I needed, Domik12 (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/member.php?7681-Domik12) for creating great pics, jeffcu28 (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/member.php?5637-jeffcu28) for creating the video below, and all of the Spotlight crew for featuring this level in Spotlight Episode 46 (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=33872-Community-Spotlight-Episode-46), you guys rock!

If you want help finding all the secrets...

1. For secret #1, simply climb to the left when you enter the level and use the sticker switch.

2. For secret #2, right after you pass the "area 2" sign, there are 3 trees. Repeatedly tap R to grab the left side of the second tree to send you in the back layer. You'll be in a cave where you switch the lever. To get out of the cave, there is a black object that if you stand on it, it will shoot you out.

3. For secret #3, right before the "area 3" sign, there is a patch of grass and a tree. Grab the grass and a grabbie will come down. Use the grabbie to go to the clouds and use the sticker switch.

l think you already know this...l loved it,there were insane bubble combos everywhere.l loved the music (it's my favorite track) it was fitting and you had some good looking evironments.Unlike Joruto l didn't cheat...well,maybe l had a little help with the second area, but the second area only! It's a very enjoyable level that l rated 5 stars and hearted. Now l shall wait for Xenon or TheNerd to get an incredibly hard to beat highscore that l'll try to beat.2010-08-13 23:11:00

Hey Val!

A very fun level that caters to high score hunters! Lots of clean level design, and multiple paths make it a joy to run through. Not much in the way of characters, stickers. or characters, but thats ok. The only thing I'd like to have seen to spice up the level, is maybe to have given each area it's own theme instead of just making it all the same two materials since you went out of your way to make signs that read area 1, 2, etc.. Maybe a suggestion for part 2?
Nice job Val

Yup I believe every creator should defend the highscore for their own levels, I have for every single one of mine . And I have no secrets for a bubbly garden, no 100% hidden things nobody will ever find, I just had a combo going the whole time for each area! Which took me 7 tries :]

This level is simple, but has so much replay value, fantastic job! 5 stars.

Sweet thanks!

Nice job Val

I know this level isn't very focused on characters, but I used quite a lot of stickers, so I'm not sure what you mean by that... Believe it or not, I was thinking of doing a different theme for each area. I even created all of Area 2 with different materials, but it didn't really seem to fit no matter what materials I used, I just liked to stay on the gardens pack materials. Another reason why I didn't do it is because this is a series so there'll be different environments for each one. Anyways thanks for your feedback, I appreciate it!

Such a simple idea, but so well executed. The arrows/secrets are cleverly hidden and add even more replay value. I love collecting bubbles and some of the chains you can wrack up in this level are insane! I've seen some huge scores appear on the highscores board (I sit in 5th, and I thought I'd done really well.)

Excellent level,easily worthy of :star::star::star::star::star: and a bubble <3

Hey Val!!

Thanks for the shout out. Knowing that I inspired you to make this fun level is an honor.

This is my kind of level, I am a high score hunter, so I will be playing this one for a long time coming. Those were some great combos!! I loved ripping through your level like a bat out of hell!! The only rest was between sections, then off on another chain!! The secret sections were a nice touch and gave more meaning to exploring your environments. It was good to have that as a nice change of pace between the combo sections. Nice choice of materials, and excellent gameplay, plus endless replayabilty, because some of those chains are very challenging. You are becoming a great creator. I have seen alot of good things from you, and I can't wait to see what you come up with next.

Five stars, a heart, and another heart for creator. <3

Great job!!

Hey Valmassoi!

In a strange way, I'm almost glad I dragged my heels for so long taking care of your F4F. I really liked your Patapon level, but then I played your Bubbly Garden beta - and now the finished product. Wow, what a treat! Before I fully dive into that though, I just want to say thanks for your patience in waiting 5.2 billion years for me to actually complete F4F for you for playing Return of the Red Eye.

And now, back to the awesome sauce! There are bubble combo levels, bubble combo levels, and BUBBLE COMBO LEVELS!!!1! - yours is in the last category. At first I didn't really see the point of having so many bubbles everywhere, but then it struck me how carefully you laid out all of the crazy point combos. Everything is extremely well thought out, and after activating one of the secrets I realized exactly how well designed everything was. Man, that's some crazy combo action there, and it isn't just random! After that realization I immediately replayed the level about another 3 times in search of a podium finish on the scoreboard, but I couldn't hack it. Man, this is a score hunter's paradise. Visually the level is well done if not a bit on the simplistic side. The point of the level (pun not intended) is not the visuals though, it's the gameplay, and for that you receive top marks.

The multiple paths and score chaining options just never seem to end, and the frantic platform hopping madness of trying to keep that multiplier going was just fantastic. The music choice and background go well together, and I really can't complain too much about that. The 'Gardens' theme seemed like kind of a "safe" choice, but then again it is a good combination that works well together. Your use of secret and bonus areas is pure genius and very well implemented - it adds a surprising amount of replay value to this already addictive level. Yep, this one is staying on my PSP for a while!

Not loads from the complaint department. Some of your grab winches get hung up on unpopped score bubbles from time to time, and that's more of a minor hiccup than a nuisance of any kind. It's not always exactly clear what direction to head on some of the multiple paths, but that's also part of the fun of the level. On one of the multiple paths I actually came at it from the wrong direction and ended up at what I thought was a dead end. I had to backtrack, then found the right way and had to go through the section again. Of course you do have a solution for that and I don't want to give too much away, so instead I'll just stop there. Your sticker work is good but not outstanding, and your corner editing is well done and gives everything a rustic, natural look.

Well, that's all I've got for this one. I'm amazed at how fun and entertaining this level turned out to be for such a simple premise. Great job on this one and thanks again for waiting! 5 stars, a heart, and a creator heart. Can't wait for more stuff from you!

When I made this level I was afraid someone would say, "Why are there bubbles everywhere? What am I supposed to do?!?!?" But I'm glad you figured it out, because I had to literally draw out how I was going to place all the crazy combos. Anyways, thanks for your awesome feedback!

Hi valmassoi! You created very cool platformer level with many bubbles chains! I love it! And very cool, that you added some secrets onto the level. Players have good reason to replay this level again and again. I played it 5 times and it was fun! I love it. Very cool environments, smart obstacles placements, good level flow and mechanics. I gave you 5 stars and heart for this level! And I will add this level into recommended levels list on LBP Russian community site - littlebigrussia.ru.

And of course I will wait for some new levels from you!

Hey valmassoi, once I saw the title I knew I had to download it. What a great level! I loved how you broke it up in sections. Not only did it give the player a break but it also acted as a hint for the next secret since it would have to be between the the two bubble chains. The chains themselves were perfectly balanced with a few tough spots to keep things interesting. Having arrows showing the path of the combos as a reward for finding the secrets was brilliant. It definitely had me searching to find them. While the play of the level itself is simple the concept and execution was masterful. The only teeny tiny minor insignificant thing I noticed was sometimes, since the screen was so far out, the level would look a little busy with the materials and the gardens background. I think that is more of a PSP lcd lag thing though.

Awesome level and a amazing start to a much anticipated series for me =)

Hey Valmassoi, as requested, I played your level and here's my feedback:

It kind of makes me dissapointed to see you publish this level, because I had the same idea a while back, a level based on combos, and I got almost all the way done with it, but then it corrupted(is this a run-on sentence?). That being said, I like the idea, partially because I though of it too, but mostly because I love bubble combos. It annoys me when creators don't put enough bubbles in a level for some nice combos. The layout of the level is good. I think the arrows pointing out combos are a great idea, and the fact that you can get extremely large combos is awesome. My highest was 26x, and no other level has that high of a combo that I know of, aside from huge bubble piles. I thought the platforming was basic, but since the level is basically a score challenge, it isn't really a problem. The secret areas are well hidden, and I'm still unable to find the third one. The visuals are much better than your previous levels, but still could be improved in my opinion. Some more detail in some parts, such as the trees and rocks, could go a long way. The level is pretty short, but I think it is perfectly fine because it makes replaying for higher scores more inviting.

Overall, I rated the level :star::star::star::star::star:
I am really looking forward to the next installment in this series. As for F4F, When I finish my new level, I would like feedback on that.

Sorry I took your idea, I had no idea  [/awkward moment] And yes, it bothers me when people don't have bubble combos in their levels either. (I know i didn't in my previous ones, but I'm making this to make up for it ) If you really want to find that third one look at the spoiler in the beginning of this thread. I was thinking about making the trees look nicer, but it didn't seem to work out for secret #2... And I never thought of using rocks, that's actually a great idea! I know this level is short, I was going to make it 5 areas, but that stupid thermometer was in the last 4th of it at the top, and I was sort of close to the edge of the level at the end. Anyways, thanks for your great review and I'll check out your level when it comes out.

Ok, I've been playing this one nearly non-stop recently, trying to get a high score (I still only made it into the Top 5 or so) and I've really enjoyed it. I thought I'd give you some proper feedback now I'm so aquainted with the level

The secrets are clever, and I had fun finding them. My favourite had to be the second because of the clever way to get down there. I've always loved the fact grabbing sponge moves you into that layer, so I enjoyed your use of it.
Some of the combo's you can get are insane, but they're very difficult to master. The whole level is well laid out and I had few problems navigating it.

The only problem I found was that sometimes the arrows from the secrets would get in my way as I tried to change layers and that made me fail a combo. The worst one was one of the first arrows , just after the entrance, that makes it difficult to shift from the back layer to the front.

Still an excellent level, and as I said earlier 5 stars and a heart

l just noticed this Congrats Val!!! lt didn't suprise me that this level got spotlighted, but that's because l'm psychic and l predicted the future and stuff My only problem with this level....l'm really embarassed to say this...it's your high score,it's just too high.Besides that horrible problem that needs to be fixed this is a very fun level that will stay with me forever and ever.2010-08-24 03:37:00

Congrats on the spotlight valmassoi. ABG is easily in my top five levels. Some levels inspire people to create. This level had the opposite effect on me, simply because I could not stop playing it. ; ) I was finally able to get the 2nd spot but the perfect run has alluded me.2010-08-24 07:20:00

What are you talking about? There's no secret sticker!!! do you ever make sense?!? You just said I cheated for a highscore by using a sticker switch that cost you a 51x combo?

This is what I have to say to that...

The level was just AMAZING and really really fun! The level was really good platform level and really Bubbly (thats a good thing). I gave it :star::star::star::star::star: and <3. This level might be your best level so keep it up. I cant wait to play your next level that you will create.2010-08-28 13:23:00

A long, long time ago, in a forum, far away...
B3 forgot to feedback one of his favorite levels.

NEVER FEAR, I SHALL FIX THIS ERROR!

Part I: Playthrough

Oh look, it's this level again. Only like the 47th time I've played through it. ;-)

So right off the bat, everything looks great. It's clear you really spent some time corner editing this. This time, I'm actually taking notice of a few new things - like the tiny little leaves used to make the grass really pop. Okay, so up here to unlock secret # 1 - and by the way, the secret thing is a really good idea. Helpful to those like me who see how relatively low their score is and say WTFBBQ.

Now then, dooooown the mountain! I like the simple platforming here - it's actually refreshing to see something so muted in a platformer, what with people like Jonze and I flinging sacks around like there's no tomorrow. Also, sliders are a great idea - I think you may just see something like that in my new level. Moar running and jumping in area two - nice waterfall by the way, but one problem - you can see the piston when you jump high enough off the cliff.

Then, uhm... more running and jumping and bubbles, and uhm... Well, rather than me try to describe those events in different ways over and over, I'll leave it at this: playing through this level is a blast, even if it is just simple mechanics.

Part II: Summary
Wow, if gardens could really grow this awesome, you'd have Blue the botanist today. :-D

When I first heard about this, I thought it would be another Jonze level - but this feels much different. It's a nice take on platformers compared to what I've seen in other levels, and running combos is fun yet frantic. Trying to reach that (g** ******* m***** **********) next bubble before your combo ends makes the level all that much more fun.

Graphics are another great area. Let's be honest here: graphics weren't exactly the high point of your previous levels, but this is different - they're great! Stickers, lots and lots of stickers create an inviting atmosphere, and tiny corner editing is impressive as well. I only had one problem, and that was the copypasta trees, but that's overlookable.

Great level dude.

Part III: Review

Looks: 5/5
Platforming: 5/5
Story: Not Available
Originality: 4/5
Replay Value: 5/5

The Good: So... many... bubbles! And lots of great platforming too!
The Bad: Copypasta trees are really the only thing - good work with that.
The Ugly: You say the next one is only 1/3 done! D-:

Five stars and a bubble-stuffed heart!

Well I'm catching up on me F4F's today so its your turn. I was a little concerned about how I was going to feel about this level; I tend not to enjoy score hunting and bubble chasing as much as other people, and since that seemed to be the main focus of the level, I felt it may come up short in the visuals and game play department, which I'd say are the 2 most important aspects of a level for me.

However, despite starting off on the wrong foot, I actually really did enjoy this level. The visuals were a little simplistic as I suspected, with little more than corner edited materials and a vine sticker here and there, but my focus on the platforming elements made up for it. The fast paced jumping, springy platforms, ziplines, etc made the level quite enjoyable even if the entire concept of the level wasn't my cup of tea. I can honestly and happily say that I found all 3 secret areas on my own, and I enjoyed following the arrows to get the full platforming experience of the level so that I knew I didn't miss any parts. The secrets were well placed but easy enough to find if you went looking for them; they didn't just feel like something in on the secret would know how to get to (like lets say you have to grab a random piece of grass and then put a sticker on something without a visible sticker switch), but could easily be overlooked by the casual player.

I can see there was a lot of effort put into making sure all of the combos worked out and had a nice amount of difficulty worked into them, and can appreciate that part of the level even though I didn't even get 1/3rd of the high score. Overall, a fun, whimsical level, and despite my initial misgivings, I look forward to what you've done in the other levels in your series and will definitely give them a play as well.

I'm glad you enjoyed it even though bubble combo levels aren't your thing. And yes, I tried to make the secrets relatively findable. Anyways, thanks for the indepth feedback, I really appreciate it!

@valmassoi: I loved this level, there was the non stop sound of bubbles popping as I raced through this level and jumped over platforms and found secret places, I really loved the idea of the secret places and the combo hints, I also played Bubbly Forest. :star::star::star::star::star: <3 and a creator <32010-10-17 07:05:00

Cool animation!

This was a bit of a bump... But no problem more publicity for me ^_^

The sticker that activates secret #1 and #3 is called "Green Swirl" you can find it in the last place in story mode: The Carnival. Not sure which level, but its there somewhere. Glad you enjoyed this level
