So My friend and i played the GTA level. We decided to make a strip mall zombie survival. Then I had this crazy idea. Fallout 3 RPG with Top Down View. Simple right? Wrong. We're going to need help and loads of it. He is a mastermind at logic, we want Beta testers and people to give us Ideas. NO ITS NOT AN EXACT EXCERPT FROM FALLOUT 3. Quests- There will be basic quests, Kill so-and-so or activate a bomb, ya know the easy stuff untill LBP2 (Which is when the actual game will come out, were planning on making the simple beta for lbp1) Also To gather info and we may get more advanced Travel- The Travel will be by train or something to about 3 places (complete maps with quests and such) Like Inner City, Outskirts, Wastes, for a single level. Expansion levels will come out. to take you to places like Anchorage and deep south georgia swamp land, or maybe even west coast areas (Vegas, L.A.) Game Engine- Your character uses what we call a "suit" but it looks like a top down veiw of a human form. (you can put armor on it and customize to a certain extent.) Suits can be customized with weapons and armor from your house. (If we include a pipboy 3000 you could do it on the move but, we may or may not) It will also appear as if your holding the Firearm! NPCs will have inventorys, *BUT WILL NOT BE THERE FOREVER.* (in an attempt to eat the thermo. We will spawn the inventorys and then delete them.) I also need people to help with parts of levels and things so add PSN: jgsstl if your interested Also post what you think of the idea!

I was planning on making a top down rpg, but I am taking feedback through a poll on what people would rather see me do. A final fantasy type game, or a zelda type game, so far it looks like zelda gameplay will win. But as for your idea, it sounds cool. Hopefully you can make some large maps, and span them out between levels. looking forward to seeing it.

it sounds good and if you execute it well in LBP2, could work really nicely. And for different areas you could make them in separate levels and links them to each other. for the character you play, you could possibly use direct control for a more authentic feel.

never actualy played fallout3... how ever this sounds like a great idea! trains, maybe you can take boats? or cars? or tanks over the citys and stuff to do something.... erm yeah, lets hope the story line will be one to be proud of, also there should be a house on every map, for you to change so you don't have to go back to a single map when you have a rifle but need a sniper this is pretty funny http://images.cheezburger.com/completestore/2010/7/28/1b51d7e5-a1b9-4e25-9855-7e7b2f0768db.jpg

PSN:ZenGama I started the project a couple weeks back and then gave up because i didn't have the correct materials, then jgsstl came along and gave me them so we gave the project a reboot, i made the Map and the suit and a few buildings and he added to them, and he used a bit of fallout 3. This is not actually a fallout 3 project, it's a combination of fallout 3 and some original ideas from me and jgsstl, we will be running an alpha in a few weeks and need some testers we can trust so they wont be taking our things. Because i've had a history of being stolen from i'm going to pick friends off my list to test it in alpha and maybe beta, so if i get 5 or more friend requests and you tell me why you want to test the level i'll be happy to add you but i want to gain your trust first so it will take awhile for me to let you in my levels. Send me a friend request and you may find your way on my list, by the way im a robot creator and i've made dozens i may show you one or let you test one.
