Kinds of Teleporters -

I'd like to know what are the other tricks of doing teleporters.

The usualy one I do is a strick and a piston; but I always have to make sure the sway of the teleporter does not break or teleport them falling down.

Lately; I noticed that you can put a switch on the checkpoint. Is these new ways of teleporting?
(I wondered how to do the teleporter at the Marvel 1st level stage where you face galactric. The stage was moving down and the teleporters were teleporting in a zigzag motion. How?

Checkpoints are switch-activate-able since about the time of the Pirates of the Caribbean DLC. Now all you need to do is activate a checkpoint and kill the player.2010-08-12 19:09:00

what you do is, you connect a switch to a checkpoint(I think it can only be infinite or double) and then attach an emitter to the switch that emits something to kill the sackboy and you will spawn out of the checkpoint.There are levels showing you how to do it(including one of mine) if you need any more help.2010-08-12 20:31:00

I like attaching the switches to a wheel for a random respawn effect. It works great in multiplayer or multipath levels too.2010-08-13 02:57:00
