Video Stickers

(if this has already been posted, who cares?) so you have just recorded a cut scene in lbp2, but you want to place it somewhere in your level rather than just making it a basic cut scene. So you take the recorded video and place it on an object like a sticker, it can be activated with switches and can have timing options. think about it, you could have a futuristic world with a huge TV screen of a dictator shouting out orders to the world you created, or have a simple little computer screen with a screen saver. tell me if they could pull this off, or if it would just lag. | 2010-08-12 03:59:00 Author: rez455 Posts: 113 |
That would be epic! But just to be simpler, why not use those TV things they use in LBP1? | 2010-08-12 04:30:00 Author: Jord-bord Posts: 153 |
If you don't mind giving 1/2 your thermo for it then its a good idea,. | 2010-08-12 04:35:00 Author: Silverleon Posts: 6707 |
That would be epic! But just to be simpler, why not use those TV things they use in LBP1? its more flexible, its like taking a picture with the eyetoy but slightly different. | 2010-08-12 08:27:00 Author: rez455 Posts: 113 |
If you don't mind giving 1/2 your thermo for it then its a good idea,. it concerns me that you say this without explaining anything at all. | 2010-08-12 08:28:00 Author: rez455 Posts: 113 |
You could have a monitor that shows a different part of the level, so that it doesn't have to actually be recorded, more like split-screen with no other player in the other screen Could also be used as security cameras and other really cool stuff. EDIT: This was as a suggestion, I don't think it's a feature... | 2010-08-12 19:25:00 Author: napero7 Posts: 1653 |
I like this idea. Similar to how theres animated materials now, we could have animated stickers! (which is basically what youre asking for) | 2010-08-12 22:35:00 Author: dr_murk Posts: 239 |
If you don't mind giving 1/2 your thermo for it then its a good idea,. termo is something that can be set and prepared for that, it does not to be large video resolution either | 2010-08-13 00:42:00 Author: Shadowriver Posts: 3991 |

EDIT: This was as a suggestion, I don't think it's a feature... that's a great idea, it think we should have a choice between live and recorded videos. (for thermo space an all lol) | 2010-08-13 03:58:00 Author: rez455 Posts: 113 |
I thought it was stated that we can record video and play it on the scoreboard type moniter. You know, like the one in the Garden on LBP1. | 2010-08-13 10:35:00 Author: lyrradXOX Posts: 285 |
I think that too, and it's enough for me. | 2010-08-13 12:15:00 Author: Unknown User |
Yeah, I believe you can actually place video screens in LBP2. Perhaps even with a live feed from a camera(?) | 2010-08-13 22:29:00 Author: Moony Posts: 368 |
For the last time, this has been CONFIRMED by an FAQ. You will be able to put the cutscene videos you make on TV's in your level. | 2010-08-14 02:08:00 Author: edster962 Posts: 170 |
