Carpe DiemIudicium86 Level with a day/night cycle. Put alot of work into this level and even used suggestions by friends and early testers. You wake up in the morning and need to chop more wood to last through the winter since your pile isn't enough. Going through the forest you find a spot to chop some trees, but depending on how long you took to get there, night might be approaching soon. That's when the wolves come out and must hide. Further down the trail you find a cabin in which some unknown person was living in, leaving behind some journals about his discoveries. You then have a choice of heading back home, or following the clues in the notes to continue his mission? This level features a natural day/night cycle independent of the player's actions. Day time is normal with a few bunnies around, but at night the wolves come out, lights turn on, and even a few fireflies appear, which all disappear as soon as day breaks. This level used to be much shorter but early testers found it to be too short and suggested I expand the 'cave' section which I spent all this time doing since then. It's more than doubled in length now and has a bit stronger story than before. There is also a final boss and a neat companion I hope you'll get attached to which was inspired by another great game I hope you have played. =3 Just let me know what you think and of course leave a level for me to play and I'll do the same as always. I just played your level & heres my feedback Positives: +Animals +level design +Gameplay +Visuals Sugguestions: - I think you should put take last 2 journal entries thats in the cabin & put them in the cave because 1 was describing the inside of the cave & how it looked so how it make its way bac to the cabin? but yea storyline was great just could of added more hazards..
