Good news for UK!

Good news!

Play (http://www.play.com/Games/PlayStation3/4-/3433970/Little-Big-Planet/Product.html) still has it listed as the 24th of October for the UK!

If it's stillsaying the 24th in 24 hours, I'll preorder it from Play.. If it changes, that's the end of me & lbp lol.

ALSO

Good news! My blockbuster still has it down for the 24th! They said to come in and preorder it, she even checked the computer!

They have a whole 6 days to change it...So I really doubt they won't change it...
Same thing with every other site that's listing the old release date.

Well, you never know xD

If you think about it, it's not 6 more days. They'll have to send the dispatch email on wednesday/tuesday.

Yes! I pre-ordered from Play a week ago. There is yet hope!

EDIT: Hm, best not get too excited. I think they just haven't updated it yet. Amazon still has it down for 24th too.

This is absolutely the situation. I hate to rain on everyone's parade, but odds are that date won't change until October 24 comes and goes...

I can cite many occasions when Amazon hasn't updated my order status when certain Blu-rays have been pushed back a week or two. It's a bummer, but that's what's going to happen here as well...

Yeah, I preordered it from Amazon, and while they changed the release date, the estimated ship date is still listed as the 21st. It's just a glitch I'm sure, but it gives me something small to look forward to.

EDIT: The delivery estimate is now listed as the 23rd. It will probably auto-adjust until the 27th rolls around.

EDIT 2: The estimated delivery date has shifted back to the 21st. Interesting.

Oh, no, that was on an already placed order. It wouldn't display publicly.

Anyway, regarding Amazon, I had to change the payment option, which meant the order reset, as did the estimated shipping date.

Ok, i live in the UK and i believe its coming out sometime in november for us. So if i ordered from the USA would i be able to play it on my PS3???2008-10-19 10:51:00

Lord Flash,

Yes, a US copy will work on a UK PS3. The only potential issue is any DLC such as Nariko, Kratos, Spaceman, first week shirt, Sephiroth or Snake may need to be downloaded from the US store. This is fairly easily arranged/

Ahh, Thanks mate Would i need to create a US PSN account then?

EDIT: And would all future downloadable content have to be accessed via the US store????

Yeah, you mine as well. And yes, I think so.

IMO you should just wait until you can get your UK LBP so that all of the trophies are on your main account.

Miffy, are you not interested in eBay? There's still a few copies on there. Price has gone up a bit, but you know, saves you running around town.

But good luck at Blockbuster mate!

Oh yeah, and when I spoke to the Gamestation bloke, he said they might not have it this year, because there was a problem with the code aswell.. ASWELL.

I'm not 100% confident but every retailer here as well as Sony's release info on the AU site and responses from users on other AU forums to email they have sent to Sony AU who are still saying it is released on the 23rd here despite the US and EU recall. I will believe it if it's in my hot little hands on Thursday but I have my serious doubts and would wager they just aren't up to speed in the AU office with the global recall yet.

Can't believe that a lot of online retailers haven't updated yet. They really should change now or they're going to get an earful from people still expecting the game on the original release date.

Of course, if they somehow do still dispatch on the original date then I certainly won't be complaining. ^_^

Miffy, best of luck to you. May the hippies give you freedom.

What problems with the code? Gamestation aren't giving away any promo codes and I can tell you firsthand there aren't any problems with the game's codes. Wierd...

(Maybe there's a mudkip in the works...)

Quiet you...
