No joke. I know the official release date for the UK FINALLY!! This will make the folk from the USA mad, but LittleBigPlanet 2 is going to be released in stores in the UK on November 2nd 2010! CANT WAIT! Please do not close this thread I am 100% sure on this one I live in Guildford, and have seen Mm often. I asked an expert on the topic in my nearest GAME store, and he looked through his little papers with release dates for games and said that the OFFICIAL date was November 2nd. He worked at a game store. It was written in his computer and everything. Nov 2nd IS the official release date. I swear on my life. No idea about CE for UK, but if you Pre- order from certain sites, you can get some of the costumes. as I said PLEASE don't close this thread its official cya guys!

Yeeeaaah... Pretty much all game stores had the wrong release date before the US one was announced.

Uhoh! This thread can't be closed! It's got the "100% sure declaration" on it! LBP2 is never going to be out 2 whole weeks before the US. It's likely that the real UK official date and the Collector's Edition details will be announced at Gamescom next week. Edit: It says on the actual GAME website (http://www.game.co.uk/Games/PlayStation-3/Platform/LittleBigPlanet-2/~r349824/?d=1z13fvfZ1z13mmtZ1z13f85) that LBP2 will be out on the 12th November...

You actually believe that?! For all that I know, that could be true, but his source is probably just guessing. The likely answer to the realese date for EU is probably some where between a week before us or somewhere between a week after us. @ A_Sack- You just said you got that from the game store! Plus, pretty much all stores said different release dates! Only Mm can confirm anything.

Alternative_sack, you and I have talked about this before (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=30425-Mm-question-asking&p=533431&viewfull=1#post533431). A "contact" on your MSN messenger list and "an expert on the topic in my nearest GAME store" is not what I would consider official news. Unless otherwise stated by MM, the only official date that has been announced is November 16th. Whether or not this means it will be available in the UK at that time has not been confirmed or denied. If you would like to start a new thread stating this information as speculation, and not fact, then by all means: feel free. This thread, however, is closed.
