| Any of you guys play any instruments? If so, what do you play and what's your level of skill? I play piano since 3rd grade. My skill level is to the point that I can play almost anything, and play fairly simple songs by ear. | well I'm a musician, but I don't play an instrument... I tried and I'm slowly picking up piano (though I really can't do anything on it yet ), but anyway yeah I'm first and foremost a singer! ... Here are some pieces that I've sung in front of some large audiences... (obviously neither of these are actually me, especially see as how I'm a tenor... so the first one would definitely not be me! ...) I really like your style of music. /downloaded everything haha yeah there are a lot of guitarists! lol but yes I do sing.... actually I just auditioned on Wednesday for a thing here called Vocal Jazz... and yeah the results came back today.... of the like 30 guys that auditioned from my school 6 made it.... and yeah I was one of them!  !! I was so happy! but yeah, anyway as for my piano "skills"... | I play trombone (or as my band teacher calls it, gods instrument ). I'm actually very good. I can hit the high notes, then go immeditlry to low notes. I have articulation problems though. Anyway its probably because I NEVER practice. I always get 1st chair though because I'm awesome at scales. Been playing for 3 years. I also play piano but I'm not very skilled. I quit once I started trombone. My music teacher taught me everything by ear which, in hindsight, was good because I now play trombone which is on a different clef. I can sing fairly well. Obviously when you know one brass instrument, it doesn't take long to know how to play them all as I can also play baritone and trumpet. I've been trying to get my band teacher to teach us to play the trumpet solo in YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.. The trumpet starts at about 1:30 and its a little hard to hear on this. | I played piano forever but hated. Sax for school but hated it. So I have a pretty good musical knowledge. Re(surprise, who didn't figure that one out) guitar. Since I pretty much know all the theory already I've been practicing the technical side quite a lot.
