PS3 Spotlight

Shadow FlareShadowFlareX/ShadowFlareX
http://i29.tinypic.com/2ll2f14.jpgSome may remember me for creating the illumina garden levels. I wanted people to check out my newest level Shadow Flare. I'm really proud of it and i hope you enjoy it

A highly cinematic, well told story rarely turns up in LBP, but here we have one with some extra gameplay to boot. The subtitles and awesome text effects help to tell the story really well, and is reminiscent of the type of storytelling we may see in LBP2 ..The graphic style of this level is pretty unique and the details, like the press x text really sell it as an interactive comic book. Silhouettes tell the story in stylized panels that look great. After getting fed all the eye candy you can take it's time for some light platforming and long walks with great views. Don't let that fool you though, the boss is a beast. A level for those who enjoy great storytelling and hard boss fights.Embark on an epic adventure through time and space in this unique and diverse level from ShadowflareX. This level has it all; a fantastic and visually stunning storyline and backdrop, fun platforming, a great spaceship sequence and a suitably epic boss finale that brings the whole thing together.

This level has to be in my top three favourite levels so far in the whole community. The visuals are perfect, with awesome spots of colour and perfect shapes - the platforming is masterful, making excellent use of emitters and clever route-changing mechanics. This is literally the first level I have played in LBP that has caused my bottom jaw to hit the floor with awe - and by the time you've finished playing this perfectly polished masterpiece, I could bet pretty heavily that you'll look just as silly. Here we go. A level that does absolutely everything correctly, and then some. Traverse the inside of a mysterious lamp, which just so happens to be a platforming paradise for sackboy. Emiting pathways, bouncing madness and a mind boggling wheel that took me a few minutes to get my head around. I don't know why but I especially loved the purple flowering that indicated important pieces of the level. Great stuff.Excellent gameplay and subtle stony visuals elevate this level to the height of craftsmanship. You'll swear this is a jackofcourse level but with a softer aesthetic. The corridors you traverse look like they've been eroded from sandstone and the cloud sticking is so subtle and lovely. Really impressed with this level and if you check further down the list you'll see it wasn't an accident and that Lockstitch has got some pretty mad skills.Prepare yourself to be blown away by the ingenuity present in this level by Lockstitch. As you explore a certain genies bottle you'll come across some simply magical devices and platforming segments that you wouldn't think possible in the realm of LBP. It's hard to find something as fun and unique to play as this level, so go! Go play it now!

Rohar's RunRoharDragontamer/RoharDragontamer
http://www.beckersfamily.us/lbp/A Photo_8.jpgRohar lived in a society where people are "recycled" after the get really old. (30 years old.) Rohar was the first person to escape being recycled. Relive his fast paced escape in this straight forward platformer.

Cold, hard, metallic and challenging, you'll need lightning-fast reflexes to outmanoeuvre these gyrating, flipping, sliding obstacles. Moody metal visuals really help to set the scene. And at the end there was a rather cool surprise that made me chuckle - see if you can get that far!I'm old enough to remember the movie Logan's Run and I think this level may have been inspired by it. Abstract silver metal and electric death are everywhere you turn as you try and escape being "recycled." Very challenging plaforming that experienced players will appreciate. If you like 'em hard and shocking, this one's for you.A bleak and unforgiving future awaits your exploration in Rohar's run, where citizens are "recycled" once they reach a certain age. Escaping this societies death machine will be no easy task, however! The menacing and metallic atmosphere and challenging but fun platforming make this one adventure you'll be hard pressed to survive.

Dragons of Myth: GreeceMorgana25Morgana25
http://i629.photobucket.com/albums/uu15/Morgana25_photos/Photo3-1.pngThe next chapter of the Dragons of Myth series brings you to ancient Greece and where you can platform your way through classical architecture to the scoreboard. Meet a couple of Gods that have some errands for you and come face to face with Ladon, the multi-headed dragon that guards the tree that bears the golden apples.

Morgy returns with her awesome lighting, superbly crafted architecture and authentic-looking vegetation in the latest installment of the Dragons of Myth series. And it's good value for money - it'll keep you busy for at least 20 minutes as you gad through more original platforming and sneak past more excellent dragons. And what I want to know is where Dragons of Myth is going next" We all know Morgana is the powerhouse behind the spotlight, and it's difficult to believe she was able to make this epically long, epically detailed, and epically fun level with so little time. The best of the series is here for us to play in awe-inspiring beauty. Greece has never looked so well lit. More stunning visuals, hidden secrets and my favorite dragon yet appear as Morgana continues her amazing series through one of my favorite locations, Greece! I've always had a thing for great architecture in LBP, especially Greek architecture, so this level was a real treat for me. And I'm sure that it will be a treat for you as well!

Wunderkammer - part 3 - The Grotto ...and side level The LighthouseAccumulationNone/AccumulationNone
http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4107/4845240385_c294006a6f_b_d.jpgWelcome to the Wunderkammer - part 3 - The Grotto. Wherein you will find... The Water Wheel, The Bone Harp, Neptunes Fountain, a Ghost Ship in a Bottle and The Mausoleum. Also includes 4 player minigame (via the fountain) and Welcome to The Lighthouse.... alas it has seen better days, can you get the old lighthouse working again?

If you're ready for a slower-paced level with some moody, atmospheric visuals, come row (in a very clever boat) through this cool little level, reanimating skulls with bells along the way!Wunderful, Wunderous, Wunderkammer. AccumulationNone brings his unique vision back to the servers in the third level of the Wunderkammer series. I love that these levels encourage curiosity and really immerse players in a whimsical world where everything seems to belong in a curiosity shop or museum of the strange and unusual. Experience it for yourself. Wunderfull indeed!Welcome to The Grotto, a place that encourages adventure and excites curiosity. This wonderful level by AccumilationNone will have you trespass through some unique locations and play through a variety of puzzles and platforming segments, all of which are left up to your own discretion. Where you choose to go and what you choose to do may have been left up to you, but trust me, you'll want to do it all.

The Evil Orange! (LBW7)warlord_evil,/warlord_evil,
http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn65/warlord_evil/Gap.jpgSackHero must stop the Evil Orange nemesis, from making a device that could destroy the whole cosmos of LittleBigPlanet itself!

Jump, spin, swim and slide your way through this atmospheric, awesome-looking factory-style level, being careful not to get shocked or gassed along the way. The lighting is very cool, casting shadows and ramping up the atmosphere. And it's all rounded off with a solid boss fight. What more could you want?Dramatic lighting doesn't get much better than this! Splashes of saturated color on dark metal make a cool background for fun platforming. Lots to do as you make your way to a pretty challenging end boss. Great level badge on this one too! Orange ya glad you read about this level?Imminent danger awaits in this frantic level from warlord_evil. Moody, harsh lighting and hard, impending decor set up a great atmosphere for you to jump around in. And jump you will, because there's plenty of tricky traps waiting for you along the way. End it off with a great boss fight, and a fantastic adventure awaits!

The Final HourJoey/XTrophx

Joey returns with an apocalyptic-style level full of realistic explosions and falling masonry. The level of detail is immense - a plethora of rusty cars and trucks, and jagged rocks falling from the sky. A good all-rounded level with great mood, lighting and shapes - you won't want to miss it.Apocalyptic levels seem to be popping up all over LBP these days. This one is shrouded in mystery and gives no answers to what may have befallen society but it does bring the special effects and atmosphere you'd expect from the end of the world. Fantastic lighting and explosions will surprise you as you clamber over wrecked buildings and beams. A very unique chase at the end leaves you breathless and wondering what in the world happened while you rocked out to some tunes. "It's the end of the world as we know it" and this level's fine!Prepare yourself for some fine, fine visuals and special effects in The Final Hour, an apocalyptic level from Joey. The world itself seems to be collapsing as you make your way from building to building, as everything around you falls apart. The fantastic explosions, lighting and effects are enough to make this level an instant hit.

Super TaoBall (Multiplayer Game)SLS10/SLS10
http://i629.photobucket.com/albums/uu15/Morgana25_photos/APhoto_49-2.jpgThe beloved basketball-esque game is renewed and refreshed with new gameplay elements. It's a multiplayer game - two teams compete to overload the other side's reactor. Make them hit 21 and you win!

If competitive levels are your thing you need to check out this fun level from SLS10. Use momentum, the paintinator and flippers to toss the ball into your opponents basket. Fun with two players but crazy fun with four! Brush up on your trash talkin' and bring your best game when taking this level out for a spin! This is a great improvement upon the first TaoBall, with plenty of tactical opportunities to shoot a basket with the new ball. Excellent global effects really help to ramp up the tension as baskets are scored, and the paintinator is a really nice addition to the level's arsenal. Superb fun all the way, you'll keep coming back for another bit of TaoBall. Some people may have thought of the original Taoball as the place to go when a few mates couldn't find anything else to do. This new installment is so much more. People will be gathering friends to play it as fast as they can. There is so much more functions to the playing field with crushers, paintinators and even more flippers! It also helps if your awesome at it. Yes, my team won 21-4. You'll always be coming back for more of this!TaoBall was a fantastic multiplayer level to begin with, so this hugely improved version really kicks it up a notch. That's right, no more getting caught under the flippers, only to watch helpessly as your opponent scores time and time again! So if you were a fan of the original, and (especially) even if you weren't, check out this fantastic competitive multiplayer minigame! Just make sure to bring along your friends!

Realm Of MagicxXGrEEn0Xx/xXGrEEn0Xx
http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=20923&d=1280751925Enter a world of Magic, a place made up of complete imagination ... Guide your sackboy through a pretty, magical land raring sackboy to experience a fun-packed adventure! Enough puzzles throughout the level to satisfy the player and showing that they're making good progress through the level.

You rarely get a level that looks as rustic and authentic as this one. Cleverly shaped architecture and well-selected materials give it a great theme, and the darkness really helps to add atmosphere. It's also stuffed to the brim with boody traps - concealed spikes and crushing walls included. I dare you not to be caught unawares by these cunning contraptions. Also some great use of the 50-layer glitch, especially behind the scoreboard.Understated and serene, the rocks and architecture in this level are expertly crafted and make for awesome eye candy. The scale is just right for sickbay and the platforming is moderate and entertaining. Reminded me a lot of some of the Japanese levels I've played in the past. If stark beauty and understated design sound like your style, you owe yourself a bit of this level's magic.A mystical world lies open for your enjoyement in the Realm of Magic, a place filled with gorgeous architecture, subtle lighting and cleverly concealed traps. Some great puzzles are sure to keep you entertained as you make your way to the end.

The Honey Hive 3: Inside the Honey Factory (part 1 of 2)shookie99/SX_shookie99http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=20621&d=1280452416Further investigation shows that the queen bee is being held hostage inside the honey factory by the evil stickmandude. the look of a factory and the same theme and visuals and gameplay mechanics are still present with a few twists and turns.

Some new tricks and challenges await fans of this honey of a level series. The high flying, grabs and spins from the previous levels have been amped up a bit so the challenge is a little greater and even more fun for players. Three for three for shookie99!Shookie99 has taken the Honey Hive series to the next level, with some more bee-themed gameplay, a great bee-themed story and a lot of witty bee-themed humour. I don't bee-lieve you won't chuckle slightly at some of the bee-rilliant one-liners in here! The Honey Hive is back, with its signature style intact! Explore more of this busy beehive as you admire the colourful and friendly world which these bees inhabit. As you bounce your way to the end, you just can't help but enjoy yourself! Also, puns!

Gr?ngebonner123/bonner123http://i629.photobucket.com/albums/uu15/Morgana25_photos/APhoto_50-2.jpgSackboy is trapped in the contradicting maze, however his only escape is to find (and even try to rescue) the sane mudkip, who has the "gift". This level should be around 10 minutes long and has a weddings theme.

Another tightly polished level by bonner features some neat platforming ideas and a great selection of materials, making an interesting slant on the Wedding theme. Splashes of colour here and there really help to add some visual interest. A great, all-round fun level with plenty of things to see and do.Bonner123 is continuously chugging out levels with every theme possible. Here we see a wedding like theme, in search of a mudkip with no mental health problems, or something. Signature challenging gameplay combined with knock-out visuals make this a great adventure. When you play a bonner123 level you know your in for two things. One - some really challenging platforming and two, a mudkip reference. The mudkips take center stage in this level and they make for some weird and quirky dialogue for sure. I have no idea what they were like in Pokemon but I do know that bonner123 seems to be the guy to go to if your a mudkip fan.Do you liek mudkipz? Personally, I've always loved mudkipz. And I'm sure that you do too. So it's no surprise that a level filled to the brim with them is as hilrious and entertaining as this one. Great platforming, splashes of comedy and some very nice visuals make this a great addition to Bonner123's expanding list of awesome levels.

Kikaiwa: Vertigunner[Hard]Vanemiera/Vanemiera
http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=20659A good Vertigunner needs three things: mad paintinator skills, wit and no fear of great heights, of which the last one is probably the most important.

Just when you thought it was safe to venture back into LBP after regaining your sanity from Vanemiera's last level, he's brought the Kikaiwa back for more brutal but innovative action. As shooters go, this is a dozy but you'll appreciate the challenge and the deviously well designed sections as you scale to ever taller heights. Looks amazingly lit with radiant VR in yellows, greens and reds. Really fun with a group! If you're a fan of innovation, great boss fights, and colourful visuals, then you're a fan of Kikaiwa. And if you're a fan if kikaiwa, you're a fan of Vertigunner. This next level in Vanemieras long running collection steps paintinator play up a notch, showing the world of LBP what's truly possible with that little gun. Make sure not to miss it.

The Tricky lil TempleCrazeAlec/CANDY_KING_ALEC
http://i629.photobucket.com/albums/uu15/Morgana25_photos/APhoto_52-1.jpgA platforming level with no story.

You'll find crisp, clean visuals and some awesome gameplay in this temple level. Alec's used Islands materials - and the occasional blossom - really well in this level, and some of the backtracking and platforming is awesomely clever. Great job!Soft pastels and creams with vivid apple green glass make the visuals in this level look unique even with materials we've had since the launch of LBP. Spring loaded platforms and momentum based platforming bring a bit of challenge to an otherwise moderately hard level. Not too long and not too hard, just right for fun and those that like things to do in their levels.Great, Islands themed visuals and some awesome platforming segments make for a fantastic gad through this tricky temple, courtesy of CrazeAlec. It's a fun and fresh level that you're sure to enjoy!

Put Your Jetpack... Off!RedShadow_88/RedShadow_88
http://i28.tinypic.com/25hizhg.jpgNow you're thinking with jetpacks! Try a new puzzle-platformer with a new idea by RedShadow_88. Use the speed of a jetpack in a complete new way!

It's not a completely new game mechanic but removing your jetpack at just the right time has never been more well planned or fun! Really clever platforming that uses your momentum from a removed pack feels very new and makes for a great time. Throw in cleanly designed and cute visuals and you've got a really fantastic level!RedShadow has taken a rarely used game mechanic and turned it into a gauntlet of cunningly-designed traps. Clever use of stickers and materials makes for a great visual style. There are some extremely funny deaths hidden in here ... see if you can find them!Redshadow has taken the trusty jetpack and put a spin on it that seems to have so many gameplay possibilities! Filled to the brim with fuel burning awesomness, use the momentum of the jetpack to propell yourself further than any other sackboy! From the second I stepped into this level, I knew I was in for a treat. While the concept of using jetpacks to harness momentum has been used in the past, never before have I seen it so perfectly and innovatively executed. New obstacle after new obstacle continue to amaze as you explore what you never thought possible with the jetpack!

Lost in Time: Specimen HunterOKINGO/O-K-I-N-G-0
http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=20781&d=1280690416Thrown back in time to find a specimen for the Professor, you will have to find your way through the dangers of a prehistoric era and all of the dangers it contains. Can you survive and find your way back to your time?

Great dinosaur design and beautifully designed rockscapes dominate the visuals of this prehistoric themed level. Great gameplay and wonderfully detailed dinosaurs to climb and run on put this right up there with the best dino levels we've featured in the spotlight. The ending is funny and the askew scoreboard looks great tucked behind layers of rocks.Awesome prehistoric levels are hard to come by, but this one hits the spot, with well-designed dinosaurs and authentic, ancient-looking visuals. Step back in time - and then see if you can find your way back again...You can't help but be amazed with the fatastic dinosaurs present in this adventure back through time. The T-rex's were absolutely perefect, and you'll be staring in awe, when really, you should be running for your life. Great design, fun gameplay and a superb chase make this level a great one.

Cubeworld 2: Workshop WoesMrgenji/Mrgenji
http://i629.photobucket.com/albums/uu15/Morgana25_photos/APhoto_54-1.jpgThe quadrilateral quest continues! This time venture into the industrious Cubeworks, where all cubes are made! But a factory is no place for a small sackboy, so be sure to keep your wits about you if you want to stay alive!

This level is anything but square! Very fun industrial themed level with bright colors and fun platforming. Loved the timed blocks that fall if you linger too long and the gas you have to keep at bay while running from section to section. Clever and cleanly designed this is a great sequel! The platforming in this level is excellent, some of the best I've seen for a factory-style level. The backtracking is ingenious, the puzzles are awesome and the pace and look of the level is perfect. One of my favourite factory levels ever, this is not to be missed! This continuation of Cubeworld is every bit as entertaining as its predecessor, perhaps even more so! Well designed platforming segments, clever puzzles and even more great, cube-tastic visuals will keep you enthralled as you work your way through this amazing factory!

Kitchen KatastrophyFoofles/Foofleshttp://i629.photobucket.com/albums/uu15/Morgana25_photos/APhoto_53-2.jpgThis kitchen is crazy! Plenty of danger awaits beyond the nooks and crannies of the cupboards. Very risky, but remember: to make an omelette you have to break a few eggs.

Super cute level full of whimsical characters, tons of bubbles and an absolutely adorable kitty cat! There's a ton of nooks and crannies to explore and plenty of danger in this kitchen. From the countertop to the deep freeze, meet fun characters and cook up some fun in this charming and wacky level. This bright and cheery level will have you explore the horrors of the every day kitchen! Great bubble placement, awesome level design and plenty of every day kitchen hazards make this level a classic!

City in the Sky 2bonner123/bonner123
http://i629.photobucket.com/albums/uu15/Morgana25_photos/APhoto_55-1.jpgThe mechanical monster is attacking the citadel! A visual based platformer loosely based on Zelda and ICO. Big thanks to SLS10 for designing the boss. The level should be around 10 minutes long.

Great architecture and material usage set the stage for high in the sky platforming and puzzles. Fantastic boss and some lovely sticker work too. A worthy sequel. The return to Bonner123s City in the Sky is every bit as entertaining as the first, continuing it's tradition of superb, styalized architecture and tricky platforming and puzzles. Throw a great boss into the mix and you've got a level that rises high above the sky!

The LiquidizerNuclearfish/Nuclearfish
http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=20942Third in the series of addictive spinning maze survival challenges. Yet this is time things are a little bit... wet.

My all time favourite survival challenge returns, as fresh and addictive as when I first played the original. The mechanics of the Liquidizer adapts perfectly to underwater conditions by replacing burning logs with fixed bubble machines to make this a very different experience tactically. With a brilliant randomizing system and the kraken to shake things up, this becomes one thrill ride where you'll return again and again!
When you add water to one of Nuclearfish's maze like wheels it brings a whole new level of challenge to the game. It feels like part luck and part skill as you swim for your next breath of air from randomly activated bubble machines. How long can you stay afloat or will you go belly up? Load up this wet and wild survival challenge and find out! This fresh and fun survival challenge makes a real spin on the concept of a rotating maze, by adding some unique elements to stir things up that make this level as dynamic as it is addicting!

Mulagura TempleCreativeBlynk/CreativeBlynk
http://i629.photobucket.com/albums/uu15/Morgana25_photos/APhoto_51-1.jpgThis is my first level (which soon should be many). It's a quick level, but it has its fair share of creative detail. It includes ruins falling platforms and much more! I hope who ever plays it, enjoys themselves. That's the main goal!

Lovely lighting and detailed and delicate architecture are the stars of this first level from CreatieBlynk. Really enjoyed the moderate plaforming all in a warm and friendly landscape. Very excited to see what they have up their sleeves for more levels!Generally, creators tend to stow their first level away from their rest in an attempt to hide what was mostly a learning experience for them. Yet with one go, CreativeBlynk has created a great level that is fun, gorgeous and polished to perfection! Can't wait to see what's next!

Granite GardensLockstitch/Lockstitch
http://lh4.ggpht.com/_yIEK1lDrzR0/TFnhFfqB6bI/AAAAAAAAABk/XG7WaH57qck/s144/A%20Photo_2.jpg"Deep in the interior of a lost island, stone faces stand testament to a mysterious force. It's up to sackboy to discover the secret of the gardens. (Or the scoreboard... whichever comes first...)

With an excellent visual style in the league of jackofcourse and some incredibly ingenious gameplay, Lockstitch will stun the stuffing out of you with this one. Everywhere you look there's something clever, like a good score bombo, a fiendish obstacle or a concealed backtracking route. Very neat floating platforms will follow a path around the rocky landscape, and ingenious circular conveyors will help you to that out-of-reach ledge. This level is spectacular - enjoy!Gorgeous, tightly designed and a ton of fun! The second level from Locktitch to make this spotlight is even more impressive than the first. Plaforming that feels so innovative and looks so new and complex you'll have to sit and think how it was done before moving on. Simply put Lockstitch has raised the bar on complex geometry based scenery and innovative precise platforming!Lockstitch is on fire this fortnight, with two unbelievable levels that break the boundaries of platforming. Using his signature emiting trickery and wonderfully carved visuals, Lockstitch has yet again made one of the best levels I've seen in ages. He is really one to watch. Lockstitch has done it again, and in quick succession! Another mystical world to explore, with more fabulous emitter trickery and great carved stone visuals. Playing this level is as inspiring as it is fun, forcing you to think of what else is possible with tools we've all been given.

Play Gamer PlatformerMorgana25/Morgana25
http://i629.photobucket.com/albums/uu15/Morgana25_photos/Photo13.png"A basic platformer made for Play Gamer magazine from the UK. I had 24 hours to make a level (in actuality 9 hours because of time zone issues) and this is what I was able to throw together. I based it on the magazine's logo and it's an abstract style platformer. Hope you guys like it."

Nine Hours. That's the length of time that was alloted for the creation of this level. Many of us dream of getting our levels done in less than a month, let alone a day. Yet as you make your way through this clean, crisp and expertly lit up platformer, you'll be hard pressed to find a single thing that looked rushed. The fantastic visual style and superb platforming make this level a blast. Just keep in mind... Nine hours!

After leaving your cage behind, you?re transported into a world of marble stone and glass with whimsical use of stickers that evoke a serene environment. This is complimented with unique puzzles and obstacles that make the act of escaping more fun than freedom itself. If prison looked and played this well, we?d be in big trouble.Return of the Red EyeTaffey/tsr13 http://i900.photobucket.com/albums/ac207/tross13/Return%20of%20the%20Red%20Eye/7-31-2010-0047-1.png Escape imprisonment and face the Empire's rebuilt battle station! (Episode VI in the Star Bores saga.)

Get your popcorn and movie candies ready because ?Return of the Red Eye? is another smash hit in the PSP box office. What I love the most about Taffey?s Star Bores levels aside from the charming humor are the cinematic scenes interspersed throughout the level. These help make the level play like a movie, and this level was a spot-on parody of Episode VI. May the force be with you, and hopefully an electrician, because you?ll need them both to bring light to the Dark Side!Rocks and GemsSketchNZ/SketchNZ

The latest in Sketch?s The Works series is another quality outing to a dangerous workplace. This time you?ll have to avoid being crushed in the beautiful landscapes before assembling a well designed crew of sackpeople to take down the factory. You don't want to miss the third of a tremendous series.Wow! SketchNZ has really brought down the house with this level... literally. Gigantic machinery grinds away at the ceiling as you scramble through a shaking rock avalanche in progress. Great characters and fantastic visuals perfectly accent the excellent gameplay that awaits you in this unforgettable experience. Can you shut down the factory in time?Experience the thrill of earth trembling in this ground-breaking level by SketchNZ. Like a skilled welder, Sketch seamlessly solders exciting gameplay with detailed scenery, creating a suspenseful and engaging plot that will have you on the edge of your seat till the very end. I give this a 10 for awesomeness?and also for its magnitude on the Richter scale!Shadesmoonwire/moonwire

Have you ever wondered what one of moonwire's poems would look like if it were a level? Well, now you know. Stylistic, crisp visuals set the backdrop in this hugely entertaining tour through a stunning and abstract land. Ethereal platforming and celestial puzzles abound in one of the most memorable levels I have played in months.Like a dog sticking its head out a car window with sunglasses on and a tongue swinging in the breeze, Shades by moonwire swaggers with style and attitude like no other. This level boasts custom background artwork akin to avant-garde geometric abstraction, which you can enjoy while you sadistically fling your little sackbuddy around. Want to feel like the cool dog? With fantastic visuals, equal gameplay and a moving, touching story, this level couldn?t be much better. I?m eagerly awaiting the next parts of the series. It's always a good day when a quality sci-fi level shows up, and it's an even better day when it's been made by Night Angel. This excellent spacey romp through the twisty turny innards of a starship will immediately have you craving part 2 of the series. Excellent spotlight! I have played most of the PS3 levels and can definitely say that they are amazing! Those that I haven't yet played are probably just as good, and I will be playing them very soon!

Great job spotlight crew, as always. Can't wait for the next installment!

Well, first of all, congratulations to all those spotlighted, you totally deserved it.
Second of all, I am thinking about perhaps seeing if I can maybe sub in for someone on the spotlight picking crew if they get sick, seeing as I had played the majority of those levels before they were spotlighted and saw the quality was so great some got a heart from me as well as 5 stars. And I don't play all that often. If there is no room I can understand, but dang, I'm getting good at picking good levels. Not to toot my own horn, though. (thats an awkward expression)

Well, I couldn't have been more wrong. I thought that the advent of LBP2 would mean levels in LBP drying up slightly but it seems almost to be having the opposite effect. 176 levels is amazing! *passes smelling salts to Spotlight team*

Congratulations to the creators in the Spotlight - there really are some fun and original levels on that list. That envelope just keeps getting pushed! Well done to the Spotlight team too - that's staggering number of levels to have got through. You're stars all of you! :star:

Wow! My first spotlight!

I didn't notice the spotlight until just now, but I knew something was up as my play count and hearts went up by 30% in the past 20 hours ROFL!!

I can't thank the crew enough for taking the time to play my level and appreciate the challenges I tend to lean toward in difficult platforming. I'm kind of embarrassed being listed along with some of the other great levels that were spotlighted, but I'm grateful just the same.

Gosh, just thanks again!

(Morgana25, it was shamelessly inspired by Logan's Run. I loved the movie and the TV series. Being in your 40's sucks, but not always!!)

one thing however any suggestions would be great, you see, all three of my honey hive levels have been spotlighted and have yet to make to cool levels thread due to, i guess, a lack of feedback. i would do the F4F thing if i had time but i dont. even after they have been spotlighted, no one has given any feedback after that. what am i doing wrong? any suggestions?

I think once a level has been spotlighted people see it as a finished level to be played, not one that still needs to be reviewed/commented on... just my opinion though...2010-08-12 05:47:00

The best way I know to get feedback on levels is to go out and play other people's work and leave them feedback first. Yes it takes time, yes not everyone returns feedback for feedback, but once you establish that your willing to take that time out to help other creators they'll begin to do the same for you. I've seen it time and time again.

Get involved and your fellow creators will return the favor.

Wow thank you so much for the spotlight! I literally only found out a few hours ago that I got spotlighted and I've only just realised there's a comment section below the spotlights! I'm really thankful for that and I wanna play all those other levels cos they sound flipping awesome. Thanks so much spotlighters. Geez, putting this level on lbpc was the thing I ever did.2010-08-12 19:00:00

Wow, thats a lot of levels to play- thanks guys!
Those Lockstitch levels... Wow!
I had to laugh when I read Holguin86's review because when I first played 'Realm Forgotten' I realized that LBP needs a new "Jaw-dropping" tag, because "Beautiful" and "Brilliant" just don't cut it.

Awesome! I just got back from my holiday to find my level in the 'Also from the showcase' part!
Now to sort through 20 e-mails...
Oh, I am working on a second one too. This time with no time restraints.

Can't wait to play some of these levels!
