[div=overflow:auto;]OK Choice (parts 1-6)celsus

Ok, still no plays but one, and that person was either me testing the level or someone that did not finish.
Wait id dyou hear that? What was it? Oh the sound of crickets reading my post.

So made a few levels, and have yet to get any feed back at all. I have no clue if they are clear enough for people to finish, or if they are fun enough to. This is for the OK Choice, a 6 parter maxed out to the teeth. It was supposed to be a single level, but the city was reduced to1/4 in size to allow the most important aspects, and for the level with traffic it had to be reduced to 1/8 of the size, so needless to say I could barely fit one of the timelines into a level. The pictures are of sceens from all six parts. No one has defeated the series, can anyone be the first, or tell me if they are hitting the wall.

(Part one starts with the city you live in)

Thank you. The levels rely on collecting key stickers to record progress, don't think there is a limit on how many a person can collect via the community, but it would be nice to hear if it turns out if one can only store a few, and thus I have go remove several of them.2010-08-08 17:05:00

Updated a few things in the series as well, but still have not had an feedback or anyone actually beat the series. I used the stickers as a item you collect to get further i nthe levels, but not sure if that will be an issue if people have the "turn off community items" checked. I swear it is a good idea for a level, but not sure if I was able to make the levels good. I have 20 published levels, just asking for some one to try these few.2010-08-10 02:51:00

Just added several more directions to the level to help out the lost time traveler. The level seems to get hearted and nice tags, but I still have had zero feed back or anyone completing the series.2010-08-17 22:06:00

Still would looooooooove some feedback on this series. Just added some propaganda posters, or rather removed some older simpler posters and replaced with these to try and improve the over all feel of the levels. Only one person responded to this post so far, and they never ended up playing the level...I hope it was no reflection on the level...

Wow. No plays? This looks pretty darn good! =(

If your stats are still rubbish, I would suggest deleting the levels and republishing. If a level starts doing well in the first week of publication, it hits the Cool Pages. A fresh start might be just what you need, once you've got the levels re-published start advertising a lot! The F4F for system is there for a reason, play other people's levels and ask them to play yours! Get your friends to give the levels a go!

I feel bad for you, as your lack of success most likely has nothing to do with level quality, just LBP's flawed community system.

Let me know if you're going to republish, I'll be the first to play them!

Edit: Also, your propaganda posters look AWESOME! :O

I'm with Blackfalcon. Having played some of your levels, (although, admittedly not these ones yet) I know you're a really good creator, and these look really engaging.

I think he hit it on the head with the F4F thing. If you made this F4F more people would be inclined to play... Otherwise, you could do F4F on your own terms and play other F4F marked levels, and request that folks play this one.

I'm gonna try this one soon!

I do review other F4F levels, but no feed back there yet. I also review any person's level if they ask or if they just review mine. I am not sure why I keep avoiding F4F. I have thought of deleting all the levels and republishing them from blank to get rid of those weird one star votes that hit me hard on a few levels...but then just figure they will hit me again. I will most likely break down and do F4F on mine, but my sig says I will review levels...I think I was hoping that was good enough.2010-09-05 05:45:00

If you republish and get some people to rate you high at the start your levels would do much better. Or you could republish them locked with a key level to avoid the cool pages.
