Televisions while the cinematics idea sounds awesome another cool tool would be flat screen tv's. you make it to the size you want then you select your vid you want to play. you can use recorded game play from the game itself for you can use videos in you video folder. and if you add one of those fancy new controller tools to that you can use options like pause and fast forward with a mouse you control. It would also be nice to have video playlists so that you can watch different stuff. That would be awesome watching movies and videos like smosh and shane dawson on lbp. so tell me what u think all criticisms n comments welcome.

This has already been confirmed. Alex Evans said that movies you make with the cutscene movie tool can be put on TV's like those in LBP1, without the red button.

When did alex say that? Could I have a link please. From what I know all you can do is set a cutscene camera somewhere else in the level and have a sackbot with recorded animations play out a scene. Although this is cool I would like to know, how much of the thermometer do you think this would take up?

Custom vids from the PS3? Uhm, pr0n in Motion? Even worse that still-pics. Of course there's the Good Grief button. Though every tool is ?bound to be abused. I thinks we'll manage with the in-game recording

Copyright issues not only affect music and pictures dude, affects video too, so...doubt, and its highly unlikely to happen. :/

In some of the trailers, I've seen it where there appears to be videos of one of the creator curators guiding you along. However, this could just be a fancy trick and merely a matter of actually putting that sack bot behind some kind of animated glass. Not sure, but it appears to me that we CAN video record because they looked flat in this video- i could see no depth.

That's just holographics that's randomly emitting slightly different pics of the creators. I thought that there might be screens in LBP, but then I saw that it was just part of one of the backgrounds.

Even if its not entirely possible, I'm sure you could fake it some how. Put some people and stuff behind some glass, make the camera decrease the depth (one of the many new features with the advanced camera controls is to make it look almost flat like front view in create mode) and animate some sackbots behind it. However, I'm still fairly sure it's possible. And, given what i saw in the video, even if its not specifically video recording, you can come pretty **** close (remember, they have a NO CHEATING policy this time around, which means every story level is made by MM on the PS3.)

There are some in the spaceship levels, being watched by Sackbots, but I think its just stickers on vacuum material.

Exactly, what Dr. Murk said. And in the video that Alex confirmed it in, I can't find it. It was one of the early videos of LBP2. This isn't happening. why? #1: Importing videos: Copywright issues. Duh. #2: In-game videos: Alex said in the interview with LBL's syroc(sp?) that they did not have time to include in-game video-ing. Is that enough proof as to why this isn't happening? (I mean for release, and for sometime thereafter.)
