The Dead Sack-series!Mnniska http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx162/Mnniska/A20Photo1-3.jpgUse your Dead Sack to get through a wide range of exiting puzzles as you try to survive Mr Wallington's Bean-factory! Hey guys! I have been working all summer on this level series and I think it's FINALLY ready for publishing! This is a Completely new concept, I can assure you you have Never seen anything like this before. Basicly you're using a sack that will NOT move, jump, die, sleep, eat, poop or do ANYTHING AT ALL as your personal tool in order to get through a wide range of puzzles! I know it sonds very strange and weird hearing it, but try the levels before you judge it! I decided to go all the way to town on this one and have a proper story and a minigame rather than just a set of puzzles in a row as in A level in create mode. I have been trying to tell a story in a new kind of way but still put in some kick-*** gameplay. You're the judges. The series is split up in 3 levels. First we have the Intro which I STRONGLY recommend playing through before starting the next level. Then we've got the main level. Here you will encounter loads of puzzles that hopefully will blow your mind and a surprise at the end awaits.. This one is SOOO close to overheating. I could not add much even if I wanted to. Then there's a minigame. This is kind of like soccer, except that the dead sack is the ball and the players are the scorers. It's pretty fun so be sure to give it a whirl. Right, that's about it! Please report any bugs you find, I want the levels as PERRRRFECT as possible! Level name#1. Demented Co-op [INTRO!] Level name#2. Demented Co-op Level name#3. Splattage! A multiplayer Minigame! PSN. Mnniska Enjoy! 21258212592126021261 | 2010-08-07 16:54:00 Author: Mnniska Posts: 531 |
Awesome, but the boss doesn't die if you press all the buttons. i think this is because the 1st one presses itself D: I wanna see the ending DDD: | 2010-08-07 19:24:00 Author: Unknown User |

The boss dosent work? oh..Yeah I know exactly what's wrong. I am Very sorry about this guys, it'll be fixed within the next minutes! Thanks for the bug-reports, hype and compliments! EDIT. All good! Feel free to play, critisize or love the levels now! | 2010-08-07 20:37:00 Author: Mnniska Posts: 531 |
I've now played the two main story levels, and I have no criticisms. I can see some players getting frustrated with the high difficulty (i.e. running out of lives) As I got pretty close on a couple of occasions, but its among my favourite levels of all time (if not on the top spot!) Puzzle after puzzle was completely original, and completely fresh, even exceeding the precedent of quality levels you've produced in the past. It deserves every reccommendation around, and it demonstrates your incredibly creative mind through its mind-blowing gameplay. The decoration was also top notch, and the characters amusing and joyful. Never has a level spurred me to use so many adjectives: I salute you, I wish for more quality levels, and I truly think you among the best creators out there. The freshness of gameplay is second to none, and the puzzles were challenging in ways I don't remember experiencing anywhere else in the game. There were so many moments which made me actually think! No aspect seemed to be filler, or inferior to other parts of the level. More please! | 2010-08-07 21:25:00 Author: chimpskylark Posts: 335 |
Wow. This level was genius, brilliant puzzles and gameplay ideas! The level style was great and the characters were really well done! The boss fight was awesome or like I would have said in swedish "as grym!", amazing fun level! I will recommend this to my friends and I will play many more times in the future 5 stars and a BIG FAT <3 I would love to see more levels like this in the future from you! And thanks for two Awesome levels | 2010-08-07 21:45:00 Author: Alec Posts: 3871 |

Neo has been bragging all about this to me so I know its a must play. He never said anything about the gameplay but he said its amazing. Ill scoop a friend up and play this asap | 2010-08-07 23:27:00 Author: L1GhTmArE Posts: 519 |

I can see some players getting frustrated with the high difficulty (i.e. running out of lives) As I got pretty close on a couple of occasions, but its among my favourite levels of all time (if not on the top spot!) I am very happy you liked it chimp and hearing it's one of those top levels from you makes creating the levels worth all the effort. I did consider putting in infinite checkpoints but decided to go with a limited amount to keep players alert and wary. Like, I didn't want them to goof around the level like drunk monkeys, that's what the checkpoints are there for Never has a level spurred me to use so many adjectives: I salute you, I wish for more quality levels, and I truly think you among the best creators out there. The freshness of gameplay is second to none, and the puzzles were challenging in ways I don't remember experiencing anywhere else in the game. There were so many moments which made me actually think! No aspect seemed to be filler, or inferior to other parts of the level. Yass! This was exactly what I was trying to achive. I wanted to create a level which constantly forces the player to think through his options and act upon it. It makes me super-happy to hear I succeeded when you played it More please! Just don't expect all of my levels to be ?ber-polished masterpieces now. I create for fun, and when I get a fun idea I'll act upon it, no matter what the community will think.. So my next level might aswell be a dark and moody level with lots of characters, a evil gouverment and a fight to be won with nearly no gameplay. Time will tell! Neo has been bragging all about this to me so I know its a must play. He never said anything about the gameplay but he said its amazing. Ill scoop a friend up and play this asap Waha I'll remember to thank him later. Please keep in mind that it's not the friend's movements or help you need, just his presense so he can be the Dead Sack Answers ar ein the quotes! Haha I read the level description and too my surprise I didnt need another person . I loved the introduction. The characters were funny, especially the father. I laughed at the change in his voice when he got mad. It was a nice touch. That tutorial character was the funniest. Just the way he moved, back and forth hopping along, was funny. I already knew this was going to be good. The series main level was just breathe taking. The puzzles and the way you use the dead sacks body was just brilliant. I mean I never wouldve thought of some of the things you did. My favorite parts is when you shoot the dead sack onto a moving platform and you have to keep it from falling. The other is when you use the dead sack as a zipline and you have to grab and re-grap thier feet. The boss fight was very fun and innovative because you use dead sack for both offense and defense. I liked how the boss talks smack at you while your playing. Very, very fun and well built level. A well earned 5 :star:, a <3 and a creator <3. | 2010-08-08 05:09:00 Author: L1GhTmArE Posts: 519 |

I laughed at the change in his voice when he got mad. It was a nice touch. That tutorial character was the funniest. Just the way he moved, back and forth hopping along, was funny. I already knew this was going to be good. After creating the big level and being forced to cut down on the details it was a blast making that intro and putting in every single detail I could think of without a worry in the world! I'm really glad you liked the characters, I focused on the animations rather than the looks of them and it's cool to hear people can appriciate it for what they are. MY favorite part is probably the checkpoint part just becouse how tricky iy is baha xD The boss fight was very fun and innovative because you use dead sack for both offense and defense. I liked how the boss talks smack at you while your playing. Thanks again! It was my very first bossfight and it's the main reason the level is so ridiculusly close to overheating. I wanted it to be new, fun and get more challangeing as you beat him more and more. Glad you liked him. Answers in quote, again! | 2010-08-08 12:10:00 Author: Mnniska Posts: 531 |
Alright my Feedback I had the pleasure to test that level in it's early stages and loved what your crazy mind has produced there. Today I had the pleasure to play it in all it's glory and this level mnniska is truly your personal masterpiece so far. It has got your humor and got me some laughs especially in the intro levels. This level is definitely a step forward in LBP. Congratulations on that! Lol enough epic words don't get used to 'em seriously one of the most innovative levels out there if not the most. It's far better than your create mode level which had the gameplay but not the love. Your Sackbot 0.5 version and the lovely plot and outstanding gameplay make this level a must play! And to celebrate it I finally hearted you as an author lol, didnt know why I havent already but there you go Of course I fell in love with that level and gave 5 stars! Cant wait to see what you come up with in LBP2 | 2010-08-08 13:23:00 Author: TOBSn08 Posts: 143 |
seriously one of the most innovative levels out there if not the most. It's far better than your create mode level which had the gameplay but not the love. I agreed. A level in create mode is almost a year old now and I can look back at it and see how much is missing in it. Thanks for the kind words TOB, they're boosting my creativity Answers in quote, yay! | 2010-08-08 18:25:00 Author: Mnniska Posts: 531 |
This is one of the best, no wait the best level I have ever played. I mean it too. It had so many great concepts that just blew my mind. The story was kind of odd but if it wasn't then it wouldn't be a Mnniska level! I cant wait to see what concepts you create in LBP2! Congrats on making my favorite level in LBP! | 2010-08-09 00:34:00 Author: austimerr Posts: 385 |
Well, you don't need me telling how good your level is. Anyway, It is really really good. So good. Did I say it was good? | 2010-08-09 00:47:00 Author: AgentBanana Posts: 511 |
I've really enjoyed what I've played so far, but there was a part in the second level where I couldn't go any further. I died on the part where you must grab onto the dead-sack and slide down a track. The level faded to black when I fell, but it stayed black when I respawned at the checkpoint. I've hearted them so I can go back to try the second one again, and I'll keep it hearted after that! | 2010-08-09 00:53:00 Author: Rhys125 Posts: 841 |
Oh yeah, you found a big Rhys. I'll go ahead and fix it right away, hopefully the themro won't commit suicide.. EDIT. It didn't! Bug is now fixed and I even managed to squeez in a few sound objects ! Thanks for all the happy reactions guys. I'm glad you liked it. | 2010-08-09 11:00:00 Author: Mnniska Posts: 531 |
Of what I have completed, these levels are fantastic One question, how do you get to the boss? I can't figure it out. Either way, 5 stars and a heart from me! | 2010-08-09 19:40:00 Author: Fish94 Posts: 554 |
Mnniska, the boss ain't fixed. It seems that gas is emitted by a require all sensor upon entering the boss room. As you go through the door, the gas is emitted and there's not way to partake in the boss. Either this is intentional to give you time to fix a main problem, or something's gone freakishly wrong, I don't know. I have fought the boss before it was released though, and I say people, it's by far the best part if you are yet to see it. The most innovative, fresh and most charming level I've ever played. | 2010-08-09 20:02:00 Author: KQuinn94Z Posts: 1758 |
Its a shame the boss is broken because that is one of the best parts | 2010-08-09 20:11:00 Author: austimerr Posts: 385 |
Ah, so it wasn't just me with this problem. Hopefully it's not meant to be there, cuz I really want to do the boss! D: | 2010-08-09 23:04:00 Author: Fish94 Posts: 554 |
I am VERY sorry about the bopss guys. It's all my fault really. I need to install a alarm or something so that I will remember to reset things everytime I leave the level xP All is well now though, and if it's not I'll fix it right away! | 2010-08-09 23:24:00 Author: Mnniska Posts: 531 |

Some of these comments are really well-formed and awesome BTW..would suit perfectly in a trailer..you guys okay if I make a trailer with some quotes from this? xD like.. " The most innovative, fresh and most charming level I've ever played. " "This level is definitely a step forward in LBP." " It deserves every reccommendation around, and it demonstrates your incredibly creative mind through its mind-blowing gameplay" See what I'm talking about? Trailer quotes? In that case, i'd like to say that only the most brilliant mind could imagine something so insane, all the while retaining it's creativeness and playable-ness. | 2010-08-09 23:57:00 Author: Fish94 Posts: 554 |
FINALLY! A level I play on your EPIC moon that you actually publish ! As I said the first time, this is definitely one of the best ideas ever. The only things I can think of to change is: -In the intro level it says "Mnniska present" instead of "presents". -Is it supposed to say co-up instead of co-op? -Also, would it be possible to put both the intro level and the regular level in the same level? Really loved it :star::star::star::star::star:. | 2010-08-10 04:19:00 Author: brnxblze Posts: 1318 |
Hi Mnniska I said it to you in my pm(s) and I love to repeat it in your thread: It's a very rare feeling that a level has the power to impress me with it's concept - and oh boy: you hit me like a brick with this one. It's one of the most innovative game-concepts since LBP has been released. The puzzles are very well thougt out and really unique in style. The visuals here are very nice too - the look of the metal and the wood fits together very well. The characters that you created look like MM-productions. My favorite is the yellow guy in your introduction level - woah! What a wiggleing cool dude! There are only some little "cons" here, specially if you ain't good at english (and I thought I am at least in reading english -LOL-): I didn't know what to do at the point where you have to punsh your dead-sack so I stuck here for the first time - the second time I played this scene I had a mind-blocking problem because I'ne never thought off the possiblity to punsh another sack when he stands in a different layer (I really think that I tried this in my headquarter but it didn't work) - maybe you can put another sign or a more detailed message-box in here (if you didn't have already) . And afte the long ride down the glas-track the light didn't come back - it just come back when one of my two sacks died :-) oh: and have you been able to fix the boss as well? I will defenitely play this one again. This level is a must play, a soon-to be spottlighted level - anything else would be a shame for this masterpiece of a mastermind in creating fresh and unique game-concepts. :star::star::star::star::star: and a <3 and a - but wait: hehe, I know you already own one :-) well, so now you got | 2010-08-10 05:49:00 Author: (___NEO___) Posts: 206 |

I will defenitely play this one again. I believe I added a "woot!"-box explaining how you did it in more detail the second you reported that problem. I think I'll doublecheck though, just in case. I did fix the annoying glass ride bug the other day.If you die, you will respawn to glorious daylight rather than annoying blackness, and you will be fully able to try the slide again. The boss has been fixed, unfixed and are currently perfectly fixed again. It's all my fsault. every time I need to edit some5thing in the play area I ahve to move away the gas, and then i forget to take it back again, publishes, and there you go evil gas xP -In the intro level it says "Mnniska present" instead of "presents". -Is it supposed to say co-up instead of co-op? -Also, would it be possible to put both the intro level and the regular level in the same level? Awesome, feedback. I'll look into the annoying spelling-mistakes and ake sure it's all spelled right. On the third note, I'll have to say that's just not possible. I wish it were I really do, but the crazy amount of detaiks I deceded to put in the intro (speech-emotions, moving cutscenes, loads of dialoge etc) has taken up almost haldf the themro! If I were to put it in the second one..well I'm pretty sure the thermo would kill itself, pretty fast. The second level is Soooo close to overheating. You can add about 3 sensor switches and that's it, seriously. So sorry, no way to put the intro into the main thing, you'll have to live with some level jumping Thanks for the compliments and feedback guys!
