I think the following improvements would be good: Refined/advanced search. Allowing us to search for a user or a level by name or creator, not by Name, description and creator. Take for example level someone asked us to check out, originally named "Alex V0.2" I searched under Alex and got back several pages of hits which would have taken a long time to find. I then tried v... I had no better look. It wasn't until the level was renamed Requiem for Alex that I could find it. If I could have searched for Alex under level name early, I would have been able to find it much easier. Obviously that's just one example, I had that problem a lot. More things to rate by. I would like to see a star rating under a few different categories, so you could rate a level, for example, like this: Difficulty: 4/5 Fun Factor: 3/5 Looks: 5/5 Overall: 4/5 Something like that. Thoughts? Refinements? Or just bad ideas?

Definitely needs to be refined, to be honest search was really hit and miss in the beta. I like the by level name option and by user name option as long as they work. I also think MM should have their own list of their fave top 20 user made levels. Cheers QuozL

If MM had their own top 20, it would be nice if it was like a top 20 of the week, with archives you could go through too, would mean you wouldn't have to search too hard to find the really great levels, just go on MM's top 20, once you've played all this week's, go back to last week or the week before.

For some reason I thought the full version was going to have a star rating system built in already. If not though they do need that and it would be nice to break it down into smaller categories like Flak said fun level, difficulty and so on.

the search system was really off, especially if you are looking for something specific it was really hard, if we could have the option to search user, and level and then put them together and have a more advanced search option and then you should have a way to organize the search results by relevance, date added, and such like that, similiar to the Youtube search function then if it is by relevance you put what country you live in and what part or what not and the most relevant could spread out from that spot

Needs better searching for sure. Also, a ranking of the most popular or highest rated levels would be good. They could compare the ranking your levels to your friends etc.

the creator could give a back ground describition, how about size of the level or average time it took some one to do the level, incase you just want to quickly play a level

Good idea for the refined ratings system! My choice would be more extreme - that people could only rate your level if they completed it. My reasoning is that it would help creators who make levels that require a fair bit of skill to play not to end up with low ratings from people who only just got the game. It would also make people who get a kick out of rating levels low for fun have to work that bit harder (believe me - there are lots of the out there!). Even more extreme would be for MM to monitor who rates levels maliciously i.e. simply enters levels and instantly quits giving a 1 star rating - then name and shame them mwahahahaha!!! Sorry, but it's an issue I've had with the game for a long time...
