New trailer at the end of the PS3 version of BioShock reveals upcoming sequel
The first concrete details of BioShock 2 have emerged in the form of a trailer for the upcoming title at the end of the PS3 version of the first title, which is due to arrive at European retail on October 24th.

So far little is known of the game, dubbed BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams, though the trailer shows a young girl holding a Big Daddy figurine whilst staring out at the sun setting over an ocean.

Presumably the game will release on 360, PS3 and PC, most likely in the latter half of 2009.

Can't wait for that one!!! Time travel please!

The trailer being in the PS3 game is a good sign for the sequel coming to the PS3 just hope it doesn't happen a year after the others again.2008-10-17 12:29:00

Oh Mr Bubbles, look! It's a sequel!

Nah, I think this time around all three formats (360, PC, PS3) Will have a simletaneous release.

Hmm, i actually haven't completed the original yet. But from what I know a sequel wouldn't be easy. Wouldn't a prequel be possible? Like sea of dreams because it's about the first group going to Rapture and it falling etc.?2008-10-17 13:01:00

Just because it's numbered 2, doesn't mean it has to follow on directly storyline wise. But I think it will probably take place on the world after Rapture and it's effects on the world at large. I haven't seen any leaked storyline details yet, but I think no matter where they go with it, it will still hold interest to me because the designers managed to make such a brilliant, (once) living world on the bottom of the sea, I don't mind if the sequel is set in Rapture or not, I'm excited to see what they come up with.2008-10-17 13:08:00

heh, so the ending leaves it open for that does it? I should probably continue on, I'm only up to (spoiler obviously)

Where you find out about yourself and your health begins to drain

It's such a great game I honestly don't know why I haven't finished it yet.

Tom, Make sure you do push through to the end, it's a brilliant game all round and some of the best gameplay parts ahead are not to be missed.2008-10-17 13:35:00

To be honest, you've probably got through the most epic part of the storyline, but there are still some brilliant set pieces left to go, some really creepy moments, and some great action still left.2008-10-17 13:48:00

Bioshock probably has the most epic story in video-game history. That moment easily makes my number 1 best video-game moment. But then I died twice got really ****** off and said i try i in a few days. It's been moths. I don't know why I'm not usually like that with games.2008-10-17 14:03:00
