The Revolution Begins With an Unlikely Hero in the Fable III Opening Cinematic

Ba-kauwk! A chicken cluck is hardly the battle cry for revolution, but the journey to rule in Fable III is a treacherous one and you?ll need all the followers you can get to start the rebellion. Microsoft Game Studios and Lionhead Studios have teamed up to offer a revealing glimpse into Fable III, which launches in North America on Oct. 26 , with the game?s opening cinematic featuring everyone?s favourite punting target as the most unlikeliest of heroes. Dashing through city streets and hurdling through the air, witness the daily struggles of Albion?s citizens through the eyes of a chicken as it makes the ultimate gamble for freedom.

In a world where freedom is nothing more than a dream, Albion?s oppressed and downtrodden citizens desperately need a hero. Against all odds, our aspiring hero dares to take a stand against his sworn enemy and puts up a rebel?s fight, paving the road to revolution for those who follow. Fable 3 is gonna be awesome, it's gonna be the first game I've bought for my xbox 360 in like 2 years. I know about the weapons system...Basically you just start off with neutral karma or whatever you want to call it and then if you do bad things and get bad karma your weapon changes appearance for example if you had bad karma your weapons would look like Kratos's weapons and if you had good karma they would be like glowing white light your appearance as a character changes with karma too. What I'm not sure of is do you only get a sword, no other weapons like axes etc... and what about ranged weapons?2010-08-08 16:49:00

You probably start the game with a basic weapon (I think that's the way Fable 2 began, I can't really remember), and then you can buy more specific weapons, such as katanas, axes, guns, etc.		2010-08-08 18:28:00

Finally, Molyneux discussed the combat and Fable 3's new weapon morphing system. The enemies you kill, the number of kills, whether you kill innocents or evil people, even your Gamerscore affects the look of the game's weapons. Molyneux stated that one of the goals of Fable 3 is for all players to have truly unique weapons. Said weapons, incidentally, can actually be sold online as well. The combat itself looks essentially the same as it was in Fable 2, although the bullet time effect produced by weapon flourishes seems a bit more pronounced this time around.
