I have a feeling a lot of creators that do these repetitive levels in LBP1 will not use many new features in LBP2, besides maybe top view races.

i seriously hope that LBP2 has a block feature, like you set your block feature to "bomb" and then on the cool levels pages no levels with the word 'bomb' will appear, which will fix the epidemic of bomb, shark, and jump survivals.

Im not sure blocking a word would be in your best interest, but perhaps having the option of blocking a noob from your stream would be a good idea?

Yes we will see some repeats, but remember this. The new tools will allow people to make very unique levels and games, so you might see a bomb survival that blows you away ( no pun intended ) compared to the others, and hopefully these will shine through and get better credit. And I don't see it as a bad thing for people wanting to re create certain arcade games, it means sooner or later some one will get it perfect and hopefully that game becomes renowned. Really it's up to the community to do their best to spread the word about the great levels and give them the credit they deserve.

LBP2 means new trophies. new trophies means H4H. H4H means spam levels freaking everywhere. But, hopefully this new search and organisation feature will help me not see these spam levels and not kill people

You know i won't be worrying about repetitive lvls. With the new stream there is no cool pages, instead the stream will get levels similar to the ones you have rated high or level types that you play a lot. Kinda like Itunes' Genius. Geruvah22 has a load of vids on LBP 2, look em up.

What's the other reason Survivals/Races/HIGH SCORE levels is because of the replays counting as plays levels, when the first one gets popular, people say "HAY, DIS WUD GET ME LUTZ OF HARTZ!" so they end up copying, then people notice more people do it so they think "HAY, DIS IS POPULAR, MAYBEH I SHUD MAEK WUN" All it is, it's all in the mind, if people weren't so naive all the time maybe there would be some better levels on the cool pages, (Hopefully they got rid of replays problem) At the moment only 30% of the cool pages have decent levels. I hate repetiviviness. (If that's a word)

I'm 99% sure that the new big repetitive thing we'll see are deathmatch levels with the creatinator. They're quick to make and fun to play - an unfortunate combination.

Like, stream based on: - Creator name; - Level name; - Tags (although tags aren't the best way to find levels. Try doing a search by tag in LBP and the same levels will show no matter what you choose. Also, there are awesome levels with bad tags and vice versa) So it shows the levels based on your history. Play alot of "sci-fi" levels and it shows sci-fi levels. Play (or heart) levels by "Creator1" and it shows levels by Creator1.

you guys give them too much credit most repetitive thing thatll happen is the same EASYILY MADE levels but now with the new power ups and materials...NOTHING ELSE WILL CHANGE...there will be no repetitive top down shooters or anything that difficult....because those creators prolly dont know how to use those camera effects etc. anyways no point in any of this tho....since LBP.me will basically KILL this sort of thing on the spot

The creators you heart show up on your stream, and levels that are "similar" to those that you like also show up on your stream. This thread is useless, because there won't be the problem of unfair cool pages, and you won't see "Shark survival" a million times. /thread because the new system completely gets rid of this problem
