Prize Bubbles Need this Fix

Archive: 10 posts

One of the things i was most shocked about in LBP1 was that prize bubbles couldn't have costumes in them. I mean if i try to load a costume that my friend put say MGS decorations on back when i didn't have MGS it said you do not have MGS pack and cannot load that costume. Why not the same with prize bubbles? it would really help me get back into making costumes and if you have seen my Hall of the Secret Apprentice level you would know that i'm quite good at it. so what do you all think about this idea?2010-08-03 09:10:00

I don't see the point if you aren't gaining something new to create with. If I have all the tools necessary already to make a costume why would I want to win it when I can just make it myself? I don't know it might be a nice feature to have, but we definitely don't NEED it.2010-08-03 10:02:00

I reckon we do need it, what if someone creates a really awesome costume and make a tutorial on how to make it, but it's so hard to get the stickers in the right position.
It would also eliminate the need to stick 100+ Prizebubbles filled with stickers in a costume level.

We don't really need this, but it could be useful at those self-made costumes, you know, with all the stickers. Also, I think it would be very easy for Mm to add this little tool to the prize bubble.2010-08-03 10:20:00

I guess I can see what you mean...Ok I am all for it, but ONLY if you can't tweak the costume ( it's permanent )

Well you would be able to set if anyone else can edit it or not.

Sorry, but hasn't this been proposed in numerous threads ready?
All (that I have read) came in a conclusion of WIN.

lol its good to see that most people agree. The reason i said this is ecause if you have seen any of my levels i have a lot of costume maker levels and it would be much easier if i could just put them in a prize bubble. I love making costumes for others to enjoy but i kinda stopped making them cause im getting bored of working with emitters every time i make a costume level.
also if you make a cool level you can have a special costume made especially for the level. Such as if i make a futuristic level and i make a futuristic space suit or something of the sorts i can give in a prize bubble so if people want to they can play the level in the special costume. I just think it could add some more fun to the game and help costume makers like me.
