This is great news for just about everyone who makes something for LBP on Youtube. Teebonsey, xkappax and the gang with their Creator spotlights. Leather-Monkey and moleynator with Sackanima, Grey Cog and myself with level recordings, the list goes on. A lot of us use youtube, and I'll bet I'm not the only one who had to cut, rerecord or seperate videos because of Youtube's small 10minute video limit. Well not anymore! This is great news for any Youtube uploader. I have been curious as to what to get for equipment in terms of recording footage. While I'm here, I'd like to ask: what do people use to record their gameplay? Sorry if I sound mostly off-topic.

Oh wow really? Cool! Thanks for the info. Doubt we go much over 10 minutes Creator Spotlights, but that will be handy for those times we are a bit over. (..and for the off topic question. I use a Happauge HD PVR)

I never understood the 10min limit. How is it that I've watched videos with lengths up to and occasionally over 30min? Do some channels get special permission to upload longer videos?

Yeah if you have a youtube partnership which is really hard to get. A youtube partnership let's you upload videos as long as you want. Youtube used to let everyone upload like that a long time ago too until that cruddy 10min. limit came. It's nice to have 15 minutes now.

Couldn't you have just compressed the video quality so that it was a smaller file, therefore longer? Anyway, thats pretty cool. I guess this means full quality 15min videos then!

That means I don't have to edit my COD gameplaay to commentate it if it is over 11 minutes! I have one with 67 kills on the first day the map pack came out that I could never be bothered to edit! I am gonna do that one next now. I guess it is good for Sackinima as well, but only if we are doing full level recordings for whatever reason. Definately good for COG and you who put the full levels up. Thanks for sharing!
