Monster Inc

Hi. I've been really inspired by the movie Monsters Inc. The city, the characters and awesome things I could use for gameplay is unimaginable. This is one of my favourite Pixar movies ever and I haven't seen anyone make a good remake of the film on LBP so I decided I'm going to make a Monsters Inc level. It will be a wacky platformer of course. I need testers, character designers and good logo/font creators as I'm not the best at that. Any volunteers? All people that help will be credited.

A good platforming gameplay part I thought would be good is were Sully and Mike are hanging on to the doors. That would be an awesome recreational gameplay part.

Any thoughts? Feedback is great appreciated! Thanks!

My sister wanted to do this too! I have to say, Tea by the Sea (I think) from Mm Music Pack 1 has a bit in it that reminds me a lot of the Music from Monsters Inc. Obviously, the Monsters Level Kit has some helpful stuff too.

I think if it's done right, it could be brilliant.

You could start it off with the spawn point just outside a door, (That you apparently just came through ) and do some platforming, jump here, jump there.Then you reach the end of the path and there's a door.You jump in and find it's Boo.2010-08-04 12:24:00

One idea was to have a bunch of teleporters linked to different rooms throughout the world, just like in the chase scene in the movie.

That would be awesome, I would've thought of something like, you just go into rooms following the order in the movie but instead of teleporters you just open doors (cue big wall to not show yourself)
and walk in. But your idea is better

Brilliant idea! With the door concept you could be transported to anywhere! And you could have a section devoted to jumping between the doors whilst they are moving like in the movie also you could give the theme music a shot. Can't wait to hear about this level
