Hey Peeps,This is my first thead so am hoping i get it right lol The first time i seen lbp2 on youtube i was like wow thats amazing and i thought to my self i wonder if its possible to create somthing similur on lbp1 with the arial view so my first attemped was ( BEACH PONG) (arial view) and after 3 weeks creating it and then testing it for bugs i finally published it and within an hour i had hundreads of plays and people actully liking somthing i created so i was pleased with that after publishing beach pong i just wanted to have a bit of fun playing other peoples levels and a couple of days later i was messing around in create and i eneded up making a football pitch and then a ball and then the scoreing system but at the time i didnt have a background and then for no reason at all i started making a car (top view) then a little road and then i started to fit it all togeter in the level and after awhile it looked quite cool lol so i carried on making things like a beach, lamp posts and a few street objects but while i was making it i had other ideas and becuase this was just a mini game soley for football i didnt make it exspeting to put it in a city so everything was new and not planned the roads where to narrow to drive a car so i made it like the had of god were you can grab small cars and throw them around and blow things up and spent a few hours perfecting it making it look nice and eventully puplishing it calling it ( CITY SOCCER ). Now i had all the ideas ready for my new project ( GRAND THEFT AUTO ) but i new before i start i need to plan ahead this time taking into account the thermo and spacing out complexety if i where to use detailed vehicles. so using the best ideas from my previouse 2 levels and playing gta 4 i gatherd enough ideas to make a level so i started of making a car out of floaty matrial and a track and testing what looked best as you cant tilt the camra that much and after about 2hours i was happy with the size of the car and the track and the amount of view either side so that was one of many things out the was secondly was street objects i wanted to make them a natrual size if it was real like compare to the car so i started of making a tree and comparing it next to the car and suprizingy it look great and i was able to shade the tree without it looking to small or to big then next was a boat becuase i liked the idea in my soccer level so i made a boat compared it to the size of the car and it was working out great but they were basicly the simple things the main part was the city and use of the thin back layer as much as possible becuase i new i was going to put a flying object in the level and didint want to go to many layers high because that would prevent any objects getting through after completing the road and the beach i wanted to put houses in the level and at 2 layers high but they were the strangest thing to make becuase houses look boring top view so the first few ettemps making a house looked really dull with a rooth i didnt like it so deleted and then messing around with ideas i made a flat top house with a balconey and look alright after i finised so if you ever make a house on lbp2 make it flat shaped it works wonders so yes i got that part out the way eventully lol next part was two huge spaces either end of the city i knew i was going to put somthing cool in them but wasnt sure what as yet so i gave my self a break for a day to fresh my mind gather ideas from around and that night i dreamed about putting a track in one of them lol mmmm...lol yes so i remberd my dream lol this sounds awful i do have a life XD and added to the level and amazingly it fitted in perfectly i just had one more space to go and there was somthing i was messing around with should i add a forest or a golf course after trying both i like the golf course best it fitted in nicely am not going to tell you much more about the level as i have added loads to it and finished it today after 3 weeks work and i dont want to ruine it for you i would like you to see everthing new ( just one thing my grammer isnt the best and i applogise if you struggled to read this i tryed my best to make it sound right many thanks Special_D_.2010-08-02 02:56:00

Welcome! Glad ya made it!

Yikes... Periods and new paragraphs are your friend! Wow... all that had only two periods???!! I hope you don't talk like that in real life as you might pass out from lack of breathing.

Oh well.. good luck with your project and as Fender says, feel free to post it in the Level Showcase.

Have fun!

Hi there and welcome to LBPC! You know, not that many people are going to see this here, so in light of the fact it's not technically an introduction thread for you, I'm going to move it to Ideas and Projects. If you want to add it to the Level Showcase, go right ahead, but I'd severely cut down on your text, my friend. That is hard to read!!! have a look at some of the other Level Showcase threads and you'll get the general idea of what to include.

If you wish to start a new introductory thread here, telling us about YOU, you're most welcome. Cheers!

My eyes hurt now, ouch . Paragraphs are really important, my friend. But anyway's... Sounds great, will play it later this day. But i must agree with fenderjt, jwwphotos and babydoll. If you're gonna post a level... thingy, you need to post it into the level showcase, and that way, you'll get much more feedback on the level.

Anyways, Welcome to LBPC, I am sure you'll get much fun here.
