what is a "build date"????

| I think it means that they haven't updated LBP/downloaded the latest update for LBP yet. It happened to me once, but then I updated LBP and I was able to join my friend. Hope I helped  | 2010-08-02 02:14:00 Author: Unknown User  |

This means they have an older build, aka previous to patch 1.18 and they are currently playing offline due to not having patched the game.
