Official Playstation magazine features LBP2. WITH SCANS!

Hello everyone, I recently Picked up a copy of the august issue of the playstation magazine at my local stand.

I flipped to the LBP2 feature and was astounded! This 5 page Blowout was a true experience to read.

Some of the things that were in the article include:
Some never-before seen costumes (scans coming soon)
Spaff's Top 5 Favourite levels Including Industrial assistance, Future Warzone, Save,Die Reload, Swining Shilouhette, and Submarine Sabotage.
Sackboy's Backstory (how he got the zipper/ragdoll look, ETC
And goes into detail about the grappling hook.

Important Quotes/Facts:
"Before we had the Create moon, we had the idea of when the player creates, Sackboy's Zipper would open, and they would create in there.This never made it, but the concept of the zipper has stayed to the game we have today"

"We recived information of that mentally Ill children could express themselves accurately through sacboys set emotions"

"Enlarged Sackbots carry a cradle of some sort, which can carry round sackboy/girl like a baby kangaroo."

"The most extreme costumes we are making don't even look like Sackboy at all, which we are also using for our NPCs of each world."

Well, I will get some more out of the magazine when i have some more time to study it! And if i can get my scanner working, which is a big possibility, I can scan the pictures and articles for everyone so you can all see for yourselves.

Umm, is that supposed to mean anything? Like..an insult? (But I know it's not, Sony wouldn't do that. It's just...odd of them to compare Mentally Ill children to Sackboy, and saying it's awesome?)

I do the drawings when I have the inspiration to. If I don't have the inspiration and I push myself to complete one, then it doesn't turn out very satisfying at all, and I scrap it. I like to do other things to help people in my free time. It won't take long anyway, an hour at the most, I type very quickly.

On topic...I'm having major trouble with my new scanner. If anybody can help, I've posted a thread in the Help! section of the forum. If I don't get it fixed tonight, I'll just type up the articles as soon as I can.

EDIT: Good news! I've got the scanner working. The pages will be up soon. The OP should edit the thread title "Official Playstation Magazine featuring LBP2 Magazine Scans" or something, and add the scans to the first post when I get them up. Or maybe I should just make a separate thread in the News And Media section? Threads like these do belong there.

I'm pretty sure they're talking about the large sackbot w/ the DCS in the front from the announcement video. Which means they fail.		2010-08-03 23:05:00
